Guest guest
Hi beth, I”m so sorry to hear how sick you are. I hope that your body stabilizes soon. If I”m the Liz you’re asking, no periods. I had a complete hyst in 1999. Liz Hi everyone, beth here. Two days ago I dropped my E from 6 lines to 5 lines twice a day. I am soooo sick. Everything in my body is wrong, pain, cramps, restless leg, exhausted. Dr. Schwarzbein told me that if one of you has the attorney, she will be the expert. We need to take Susie Wiley down and we have to do it as a group. I'm going to bed at 6 pm because there's nothing else to do. Liz, are you still having periods? beth http://liz-vernand.artistwebsites.com http://fineartamerica.com/shop/liz-vernand.html
Guest guest
beth, I'm so sorry you're having so much trouble. I too am having a lot of scary symptoms, and I'm so thankful I have Dr. Schwarzbein helping me. My ex-doctor's recommendation and also Dana 's of the pharmacy in S.B. for going off WP was to stop completely on a Day 1 of one's cycle. I wonder how many women have done this and how they are doing? I've only heard of women in my town that are going off slowly either on their own or with the help of a doctor. Today I put a patch on and lowered my WP Estradiol to 3 lines twice a day. I started using progesterone suppositories two days ago. Tonight my whole vulva area is in trauma, my eyes hurt, a have a nagging headache behind my eyes, my right thigh and lower shin ache and hurt, I forget things, my hair is thinning and falling out, and so on. I visited with a new friend today who is on the program and getting off, but she is doing fine on it. Go figure. I also looked back through the e-mails and it was Nanci that said her daughter was an attorney in California. I don't have unlimited funds to hire an attorney unless we could file a class action lawsuit where the attorneys are paid from the settlement if we win. I seem to have all I can deal with financially and emotionally right now as I am trying to get well. I really don't understand how this protocol has gotten so established that even some insurance companies are okaying it for their patients. I thought drugs had to be evaluated by somebody before they could be prescribed. I do know I want to be involved in educating women to the dangers of this protocol. I don't understand how the doctors prescribing this haven't put two and two together. Like Dr. Schwarzbein says,"You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this out!" I pray you have good night and things are better in the morning. Guest guest
Hi Ladies I spoke with my daughter and although she is not a personal injury lawyer herself, her firm handles these kinds of cases. they are the top law firm in CA regarding personal injury and are very successful in what they do. I have no idea if they would even take the case, but my daughter told me to write up a paragraph explaining what happened and the details and injuries while on and off the WP. A small history of sorts. I will then mail them all to her and see what she says. she will talk with her boss, Sherie, and see if they are interested in taking the case. I can’t make any promises. I will try to get something started. Fingers crossed. So for anyone who is interested in being part of this suit, please write to me privately. you can get my email from the group member list or Laurel has it. I can’t make any promises and right now I am very sick and don’t even have the energy to fight this fight alone. I have to see if I can get better somehow and I am trying to do that through an osteopath who is waiting on my blood work results. I am certain the WP screwed up my adrenals and thyroid and the rest of my endocrine system. I am sure I have to be on some kind of hormone but not the excessively high poison amounts the WP puts each and every women on. That never made any sense to me and should have been alerted to this at the get go. Prescribing the same amount to every women...we are all different!!! I really don’t want those who are fans of the WP to get wind of this, so this is the last email I will send to the group. if you want to talk, discuss and send, please do it privately. Thanks To our health, Nanci
Guest guest
My comments interspersed. Laurel beth, I'm so sorry you're having so much trouble. I too am having a lot of scary symptoms, and I'm so thankful I have Dr. Schwarzbein helping me. My ex-doctor's recommendation and also Dana 's of the pharmacy in S.B. for going off WP was to stop completely on a Day 1 of one's cycle. Absolute and pure speculation on her part. Sure it sounds fine in theory, but at these doses that's like telling an astronaut on the dark side of the moon to toss all the fuel. These people making money off the WP are completely forgetting the context! These doses are a nuclear blast to the endocrine system. Another term Bent Formby used, "astronomical"! It's not just a bit. It's beyond any scientist's comprehension!!! I wonder how many women have done this and how they are doing? I've only heard of women in my town that are going off slowly either on their own or with the help of a doctor. There is no clear story. I've been watching this for years now. It's all over the place. Totally confused why you are using P right now? I visited with a new friend today who is on the program and getting off, but she is doing fine on it. How do you know she is actually doing the full WP? And how do you know she is fine? By what standard does anyone say they are well on it? I talk to women bragging that they were doing great and they discovered they did only 1 line of P in the luteal phase or dabbed a bit on here and there. Or they were depressed as hell and thought , oh, I always have depression, it can't be the WP. I'd say, any woman on P should check her IGF-1 and see how horribly is is slammed. Doesn't take much to trigger old old lady growth hormone levels.Go figure. I also looked back through the e-mails and it was Nanci that said her daughter was an attorney in California. I don't have unlimited funds to hire an attorney unless we could file a class action lawsuit where the attorneys are paid from the settlement if we win. It's fine if ya'll want to discuss this on the list. Completely fine. But I personally will not make any comments about this subject openly on the group. Like Dr. Schwarzbein says,"You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this out!"It's easy to be one of the few doctors downstream from the sales pitch. $$$ I believe that part of the process of recovery from this scam is searching one's own soul for the need of the quick fix. Laurel I pray you have good night and things are better in the morning. It's not just a bit. It's beyond any scientist's comprehension!!! Laurel, my ex-doctor and Dana are both men who prescribe the WP protocol. I wanted to make sure you didn't think it was Dr. Schwarzbein that said this. When I was asking around for help, most non-WP professionals told me to go off slowly. However, Bent Formby also suggested I go off everything immediately. The whole process was confusing and scary and I'm glad to have found a doctor who really listens to me and is available. S.M. I wonder how many women have done this and how they are doing? I've only heard of women in my town that are going off slowly either on their own or with the help of a doctor. There is no clear story. Totally confused why you are using P right now? Because I am still on high doses of estradiol, she put me a very low dose of P that doesn't get into the tissues so that I would be able to release the lining buildup in my uterus. However, this isn't working right now so I'm off of it until we can talk on Monday. In the future she would like to see me using a low-dose patch and a low dose progesterone during days 15-28 so that I will have a period. She believes you only replace what you've lost, nothing more. However, my body is still in trauma from WP. We did two different progesterone blood tests to determine blood levels and bound levels. WP is totally off the charts and progestrone dominant. It sounds like you saying that progesterone should never be taken again. Could you please clarify. Thanks. S.M. Doesn't take much to trigger old old lady growth hormone levels. I don't know. It's what she said. I have another friend who is only using WP estradiol with no progesterone and says she is doing fine. I don't understand this either because these are really high levels of estradiol totally unopposed. S.M. Go figure.
