Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm new to the list. My son is 3.5 yrs old and has ASD. His Anne Connolly test showed positive for IgM staining. I suspect HHV-6 although he has been negative on antibodies. He had a SPECT scan recently which showed an area of superior frontal lobe hypoperfusion consistent with head trauma or neuroimmune insult. I have MS myself so sure I have HHV-6 which possibly got passed to him. He has gut issues, is high functioning, has social motivation, but expressive/pragmatic speech issues. Had a seizure focus on spect. I'm just wondering about immune issues, and what would help him. He is currently on spironolactone, and low dose lamictal. Here are a partial list as waiting for the rest: IgG 838 (635-1741) IGA 69 (66-433) IGM 89 (45-281) Rubella IgG 113 (was 117 a year ago) (greater than 10 is normal) measles 5.55 (greater than .75) mumps 3.54 varicella 3.66 HHV 6 pending (last year was less than 1:40 for IgG and less than 1:80 for IgM) WBC 6.2 Total lymphocyte 51.6 (50-70) CD3 2102 (2040-6000) CD4 1440 (1300-4100) CD8 464 (750-2600) CD8 surface marker 14.1 (18-42) NK % 5.6 (less than 16) NK absolute 179 (less than 339) monocytes are always mildly elevated in his CBC: they are 7 (normal is 0-5) thanks in advance, Pam
