Guest guest
Hi Everybody,I'm new here and thankful for your wisdom. I'm 47 and have been experiencing increasing anxiety, mood swings and bloatedness. I tested low on blood tests for estrogen and progesterone.I started bhrt about a month ago. I'm on creams from Women's International Pharmacy -E2 - 0.2, E3 - 0.8 - day 1-21P - 40 MG - days 15-28.I take the E in the morning because it was keeping awake when I took it at night. I take the P at night. When I first started, I was on the E only days of my cycle and I felt like my whole body hurt. When I added in the P, I felt the best I've felt in a while. When it was time for the P only days, I felt anxious and PMSy. Now I'm back on the E only again and I feel pretty good again, though not as good as the days when I was on both. I'd like to ask a few questions to the list. Do you think that cycling the hormones is better? I read on a doctor's site that, if your goal is not to keep bleeding (which it isn't), it's fine to do a small dose of both hormones at the same amount all the time. After reading some of the archived messages and your site, I'm grateful my doctor (who barely explained anything to me), did not put me on anything close to Wiley doses. How do the above doses seem to the experienced people on this list? Also, I have crazy, itchy, prickly back and shoulders. I found this link http://www.power-surge.com/php/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t11558.html where a couple of women have gotten itchy skin when their E levels were going up or down. Is it a better idea to break the E up into 2 doses? Is it somewhat common to be allergic to the fillers from WIP?Also, is there a consensus on the list about using gels, Olive Oil, cream or sub-lingual? (I read the abstract sent to the group about saliva testing when using creams so I'm glad my doctor prescribed a saliva test on the week before 2 periods from now.)Thanks again,Liz
