Guest guest
Hi , I can empathise with you, as on the evening of day one of my apple juice fast I also had the most horrendous headache - and threw up to boot! I managed to complete the fast, but felt bad afterwards, and Don helped me to discover that I really should have done a bowel cleanse first! I did one afterwards - well, I took some Bentonite and psyllium a three times and got so horribly constipated that I felt much worse than before I started the cleanse!! Sorry, that's not helping you is it? I would say that we both need some help to do a decent bowel cleanse first, we need to eat mosty veggies (and no meat) a couple of days before the juice fast (which I did) and only then should we go through the juice fast. Right folks? and the K9's > Though as I went to sleep, I had one of the worst headaches I've ever had in my life. I woke up with it and it's still there. Guest guest
, What are you using for the fast.....carrots, apples, etc... you can eat the same as in apple juice...eat an apple... drink lots of water too... for that headache... try some organic iron... or feverfew... I think it's just the actual ACT of eating that I missed, as well as the TASTE!!! I wanted something to chew on! LOL. Eventually (around 9pm when I gave up!) it passed. Though as I went to sleep, I had one of the worst headaches I've ever had in my life. I woke up with it and it's still there. The last two days at work have been RIDICULOUSLY stressful, and I think that I'm finding out that I am a stress eater as I want food like NOBODY's BUSINESS!!!I'm feeling like I've got no willpower at all. How do you all stay on course when life around you is full of stress and strain. Just having trouble even staying on for 2 days.Sad I know. Just looking for a bit of support. Life will challenge you to the max when you try and improve your lot in life. As you cleanse toxins get dumped into your blood. This will cause headaches, lack of energy, weak feeling, doubts, indecision, etc. The best way to stay on course is to continually remind yourself why you are cleansing your body and what you wish to gain. You will also realize, in due time, that the more you cleanse the body the easier it will be for you to handle stress and strain, as your thinking will be clearer and your emotions will become much more stable. Toxins really play heck with our bodies and minds. Now you know what level of stress and strain you are capable of handling without grabbing a cup of coffee or eating. This is a very good thing to have happen . You are learning about yourself in many ways. Just take it one day at a time. Baby steps. The more you cleanse the easier the whole process will become and the more able and capable you will become at handling stress. This process will take time. You are doing great . Hang in there, you only have one or two more days to go and then you can take a breather. The first time always seems so rough and daunting. Afterwards, on successive cleanses you will find that they are less daunting and easier for you to deal with, though they may still be rough at times. Don't give up yet. Your almost there and I just know you can make it that one more day. :-) -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
