Guest guest
Hi all, I just approved 4 new members for the group and of course there are some looking for more "pros and cons for the WP". I've been thinking about people looking for more "pros and cons" for the WP and it seems to me that what is better needed is education in critical thinking skills. What number of negative reviews would be enough to wake someone up? The onus of proof is not on the members of RL! The onus of proof is on the WP folks. Is it not enough that a real scientist said the dosing is insane? Not enough that the credibility of the the author is in shambles? That the pushers of the program are not registered as any kind of credible study and yet talk as if it is one? See wileywatch.orgThe more serious problem for women embarking on the WP is the continued engagement with magical thinking. Once that has been engaged then all evidence will be filtered to support the dream. I was delighted to see the link provided by Sue Fraser the other day. Look! A real live professional with some version of peer review! Excellent. His website is http://www.jamesasimonmd.com Laurel
