Helen:

Dr. Vliet has an office in Ft. Worth. She has written several books

about hormones and has a website www.herplace.com where you can listen to her

archived radio shows. She doesn't take insurance and she is expensive, but she

knows her stuff. I haven't been to her, but I have read a couple of her books

and listened to her audios and learned quite a bit.

Wish you well with this, Sue

on antidepressants to tame the adrenalin I feel so horrible.

Helen,

Check out Dr. Swartzbien. (sp) She might do phone consults. I am hearing more and more good results from women who work with her.

I was overdosed on progesterone and on hydrocortisol. For almost 2 years now I've been suffering from my adrenals being in a constant state of fight or flight (ie: adrenalin doesn't want to shut off!)I've been off everything for a year (it took 1 year to finally figure out what was causing the symptoms). Has anyone on this list found a dr. who actually knows what they're doing in this area? I desparately need some help here. I'm honestly about ready to go on antidepressants to tame the adrenalin I feel so horrible.Helen

Expensive is definitely an understatement. No way I could afford her.
