Guest guest
Hi all, I was in a lengthy, large clinical trial of Peptide-T. I can’t share any enthusiasm about it. They (the researchers) worked very hard to find a significant result and could not. They tried slicing and dicing the patient population (torturing the data, trying to get a confession) and still couldn’t. The trial involved extensive neuropsychological testing along with “normal” HIV parameters. Bob From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of markboothan Sent: Tuesday, March 10, 2009 6:22 AM Subject: Peptide T I have been doing some on line research on Peptide T and the more I read the more it is clear that this product while not a treatment per se against HIV has potential as an add on drug that could help with HIV related cognitive problems by protecting brain and spine cells, and it also seem to help with HIV related kin rashes, itching and psoriasis. Clearly more studies are needed to understand the long term efficacy, side effects and impact of this product. One thing all studies seem to agree with is that Peptide T is non toxic. Here is some of what i have find (there is so much more on line) if you don't mind some reading you might find this very interesting. Guest guest
http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/5686417/fulltext.html Here is what I have been hearing: very good results in cognitive etc for HIV and MS, mystery why it hasn¹t been taken mainstream treatment (probably because small company holding patent, no big marketing machine behind it etc) Good news: totally without any side effects in all trials!! Bad news: horrendously expensive Good-ish news: patent expiring 2015
Guest guest
I heard about this, too. Very interesting...I like the no side effects because so far I saw AZT was effective but I just dont see our fragile kiddos doing well on a drug like that! I dont care what it costs. I would give up everything I have to get my daughter better. Almost have so far. - > > > > http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/5686417/fulltext.html > > > > Here is what I have been hearing: very good results in cognitive etc for HIV > and MS, mystery why it hasn¹t been taken mainstream treatment (probably > because small company holding patent, no big marketing machine behind it > etc) > > > > Good news: totally without any side effects in all trials!! > > > Bad news: horrendously expensive > > > Good-ish news: patent expiring 2015 > > > > >
Guest guest
Natasa, are you going to try this? I am reading about this but I am careful in taking my steps, I am under the care of a doctor that I trust... > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/5686417/fulltext.html > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > Here is what I have been hearing: very good results in cognitive etc for >> > HIV > >> > and MS, mystery why it hasn¹t been taken mainstream treatment (probably > >> > because small company holding patent, no big marketing machine behind it > >> > etc) > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > Good news: totally without any side effects in all trials!! > >> > > >> > > >> > Bad news: horrendously expensive > >> > > >> > > >> > Good-ish news: patent expiring 2015 > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> >
Guest guest
It is a drug that was used to prevent HIV from infecting cells...one of the first that were made. Biological Activity Chemokine receptor 5 (CCR5) antagonist. Acts as a selective antiviral entry inhibitor for R5 tropic HIV-1 strains. Blocks CCR5-mediated monocyte chemotaxis and reduces microglia and astrocyte activation in a neuroinflammatory rat model of Alzheimer's disease. > > > > > > > > > > > > http://www.patentst orm.us/patents/ 5686417/fulltext .html > > > > > > > > > > > > Here is what I have been hearing: very good results in cognitive etc for HIV > > > and MS, mystery why it hasn¹t been taken mainstream treatment (probably > > > because small company holding patent, no big marketing machine behind it > > > etc) > > > > > > > > > > > > Good news: totally without any side effects in all trials!! > > > > > > > > > Bad news: horrendously expensive > > > > > > > > > Good-ish news: patent expiring 2015 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
