Guest guest
Hi Vickie, I am curious why you would not want to just keep getting the pellets? I am on my first round and I am feeling SOOOOOOO much better than all the years I’ve been fussing with creams, gels, patches, WP. NONE of those ever made me feel the way I do now. My libido is not where it should be yet but my outlook on life has done a complete turnaround. I deal with some pretty yucky health issues not related to hormones and I cried every single day due to the pain and discomfort. I still have that but I have not cried or even felt like crying since I got the pellets 2 months ago. I’m going to check my hormones again at 3 months to keep an eye on the levels so as not to allow myself to crash. I do NOT want to ever visit where I’ve been in the last 13 years. I had a complete hyst 13 years ago so theoretically I do not need to use P but I just started a tiny bit subligually. I use Progest E. (it’s P not E) Each drop is 3mg (approx) I have been using 2 drops under my tongue every night. I”m going to stop for a week each month to see what happens. But since starting it, I think I’m feeling even better. It will never be perfect as we are adding hormones but that’s ok, I am SO much better for now. I pray it lasts. I’m curious about the E and Testo injection. You got this along with the pellets? How come? Is this normal procedure or they give it to you because you were depleted? Liz Hello, My name is Vickie and I'm 54. I had a partial hyst when I was in my mid 30, I have one lone ovary. For years I took estradiol... The estradiol stopped the hot flashes but I just didn't feel that great (weight gain, feeling out of sorts, depressed etc..). So I started looking into BHRT. Last October I had SottoPelle pellets implanted. I felt like myself again.. Much more in balance. Happier, great libido over all the world looked much better and brighter through my eyes. . Anyway, I let too much time pass and (5 months) and I really crashed out. I just got my 2nd insert last Wednesday and an estrogen and testosterone injection so I'm starting to feel better. Also, after researching I asked my doctor about using progesterone cream and he thought that was a good idea, so I started that last week I have been reading everything I can find on BHRT and the more I read the more confused I get. I'm thinking about trying the compounded creams rather than the pellets and was also curious about rhythmatic cycling.. That's how I found this group. Hope everyone is having a great St 's day.. Guest guest
Hi Liz, I am happy that the pellets have worked so well for you. I have had pretty much the same results. It has truly been life changing. And it intersting to hear your expierence with the creams. The only reason I am considering trying the cream is that I would have more control over the hormones and my thoughts where that I would be able to more closely mimic the natural hormonal cycles. I have been reading tons of information and it is really quite confusing. I think my doctor may be unique in giving the T & E injection. The injection has a immediate result (with in a day or two). It's kind of a booster until the pellets kick in. And yes I was totally depleted... Phew, I'm not going to let that happen again! I started using the progesterone cream 200mg a day. My doctor prescribed it daily with no break, but he said that it would be fine if I wanted to cycle it, which I do. I'm not sure if I want to do 2 weeks on and 1week off or 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.. My husband age 62 also had T pellets inserted in Dec. He has been super happy with the result. His energy, mussel tone and mood have greatly improved.. Vickie

Guest guest
Hi Liz, Geeze I have been reading up on progesterone (from links on this group) and now I thinking twice about taking it! Especially at 200mg a day.. You say the WP pretty much ruined your life.. What happened? Vickie > > > > > > > > > Hi Liz, > > > > I am happy that the pellets have worked so well for you.
