Guest guest
Hi Gael, I am exactly like you. I could not absorb the E no matter how much I used. Patches made me crazy. I was at my wits end. So I did a search and found the gal in Westlake Village. She does not use the Sotto Pelle but the Vitapel. I don’t know if there is a difference in anything other than who trademarked the names? Maybe the philosophy is different? I was a LOT nervous about what if I didn’t like them. They can be removed but not easily. It took about a week before I really started feeling them kick in. I used my Divi gel the first week. Then just stopped. I could feel the rise. I had a tiny bit of anxiety feelings but nothing horrible. A bit of headaches but nothing bad. After about 2 weeks I could feel my libido kick up. My mood instantly got better. And so did my energy. The anxiety never happened to any extent that I felt scared of it. And I know all about anxiety, trust me. I went down that road from the WP and pre hyst with P. At one month, my blood levels were showing the pellets! FSH – 24, E – 114, Testo – 134, P - .5 (same as always but had not been using any) I definitely felt the peak at 30 days. I leveled off so the dr suggested either adding some Divi gel or try some P to wake things up. So I started 3mg of subligual P. Instantly, my breasts got fuller and a bit sore. Fine with me. I have had nothing there for years. But my libido is still not there. I just did another draw – FSH 7.2!, E – 126, P- .6 ( not budging much) I don’t have the Testo result yet. My Estrone is up a bit higher than I like but will deal with that next. As far as stability, I am completely even all day long. I go to sleep easy and sleep pretty well. I am happy all the time. I laugh. I am more motivated. I have had a little bit of pimple break out but it’s ok. So far no extra hair growth that I didn’t already have going. Since this is my first go round, I don’t know what it’s going to feel like when they wear off. I’m going to try and stay ahead of the game. It’s expensive but my insurance paid a portion of the visit. For all the money and hell I’ve been through since the first time I used P pre hyst, thousands and thousands of dollars (testing, supplements, office visits, surgeries, etc, losing my job, almost my marriage, my life as I knew it) I would not hesitate to tell someone, man or woman, to give the pellets a try. Especially if the body is not absorbing the topicals properly. I struggled for YEARS with this, all the practioners (allopathic and holistic) making me think and feel like it was ME that was the problem, (well it was me not not the way they made it sound) I went crazy TWICE with Progesterone, TWICE. Literally crazy. It was not ME. All the drugs, all the counseling, all the anxiety coaching, would not fix what the P did to my body and mind. Some do well with P but I did not and no one recognized that. Just said it was me. I am no longer afraid of anxiety. At this point, I really don’t worry about breast cancer. If I get it, I do. Or any other kind of cancer. I am in a place in my head now, that I don’t fear it. The pellets were my last ditch effort to get some sort of hormone stability and so far so good!!! I think the person who invented the Vitapel is into Breast cancer research and testosterone. I’ve tried to find this info but can’t yet. (I haven’t spent a lot of time on it) If nothing else, find someone who inserts them and see if you can just chat on the phone about them first. Liz Hi Vickie and Liz, I am very interested in the pellets, but mostly because I don't absorb E well through my skin - or rather, I absorb it all at once, which makes me nervous and jumpy, and then there is nothing left. A vivelle patch of .075 feels bad for the first few hours - very nervous, anxiety, etc, and then it's gone and I have aching bones, hot flashes, constant feeling of heat, mood swings. Are the pellets more stable? I'm actually more afraid of the anxiety when it first all dumps in than of the feeling terrible after it's gone. The only E delivery system that worked well for me was Aerodiol, and they removed it from the market some years ago, not because of bad side effects anyone was having, but because the company either went bankrupt or was sold. If the pellets are smooth from the day of insertion, I would definitely want to investigate further. Gael

I’ve had some issues but overall, going good! Thanks for asking! Liz Hi Liz, I was just wondering if you are still on the pellets, and if you are still liking them? Guest guest
Hi Liz, I'm so happy to hear that you're doing so well with the pellets. I hope they continue to work, and it sounds like they will. I am still thinking about it, but with the way things are going with me I'm about ready to try anything. I may call Westlake and try to get an appt to talk about it! Thank you so much, Hi Gael,Yes, I am still on the pellets. Iâ€m still liking them better than any other form of replacement.
