Guest guest
Hi beth, I too, experience the constant feeling of my leg/ feet muscles cramping (and they do a lot!) and the muscle twitching. I never had muscle twitching until weaning off benzos. For me the P messed up my nervous system. And then the benzos did the same. For me the P worked big time on my nervous system but I didn’t know how much until now. Do you check your blood sugar? I can’t remember if you said if you checked your hormones (via blood) while on the WP? What’s interesting now, is I can add or subtract a line here or there and not really notice much difference. But I don’t think I absorb well OR it breaks down incorrectly in my body. Hang in there, it will get better. Liz Thanks Sam. It's so fascinating that we really are just a bunch of guinea pigs out there with the hormones stuff! Scary at the same time. I truly wish I had never started taking any of them but I did so because I was experiencing peripheral neuropathy, not really have trouble with menopause (I don't remember though as it's so hard to think back 6 years!). Anyway, I went back on 1/4 tablet of HC so we'll see how that goes. I'm having such issue with indigestion most of the day...I always feel hungry...I'm eating quite a lot and not gaining weight. Even eating tons of fat. Dr. Schwarzbein doesn't want to retest the thyroid because she said we need to take care of one system first. I do think that's a huge part of what I'm experiencing. I'm now down to 5 lines of WP E and 1/2 .05 patch and since going to 5 lines from 6 lines over a week ago, I have gotten even sicker. That's why she added the patch. I'm going to start B vitamin shots today to see if that helps. The biggest issue is the almost ever present 'almost cramping' sensation in both of the my lower legs, along with constant muscle twitching that about drives me nuts. I'm also doing some hyperberic sessions so we'll see if that helps. It always helped the peripheral neuropathy. All my joints are sensitive and hurt now off and on. I feel fragile and breaking in pieces. And I can only pray and believe it will all resolve itself eventually because I do not want to live the rest of my life like this! Thanks for being there... beth http://liz-vernand.artistwebsites.com http://fineartamerica.com/shop/liz-vernand.html
Guest guest
Schwarzbein doesn't want to retest the thyroid? Holey moley! I would think retesting thyroid/adrenal would be a priority since those 2 things pretty much run the whole show. It's difficult, at best, to address sex hormones with any success at all UNTIL adrenals/thyroid are " properly " addressed. You can order your own testing: Diurnal cortisol: http://www.canaryclub.org/diurnal-cortisol-4x-zrt-stress-hormone-test-kit-c1-c2-\ c3-c4.html Adrenal and reproductive: http://www.canaryclub.org/basic-saliva-hormone-profile-test-kit-for-adrenal-and-\ reproductive-zrt.html Thyroid, adrenal, and reproductive: http://www.canaryclub.org/advancedplus-thyroid-adrenal-reproductive-test.html Sam > > Thanks Sam.
