Guest guest
Hello Rhythmicliving Members! I'm glad this group is about hormones and not about playing the washboard or the bongos. :)Debbie said this group is a great resource. I've only had one day saliva ZRT labs sample done on day 20 of my cycle last month, and it was interesting. 48.8 years of age, started being very irregular this past year, skipping months at a time. Also, diagnosed as hypothyroid, began treatment in March. I had a tubal ligation about 9 years ago, and I called that OB/GYN to see what kind it was, but his office never called back. I think it was the burn kind. My labs looked like this (April 2012): (all saliva) estradiol: 1.9 pg/ml (1.3-3.3) Premeno-luteal progesterone: 15 pg/ml (75-270) Premeno-luteal P/E2 ratio: 8 (100-500 optimal when E between 1/3-3.3) Testosterone: 51 pg/ml (16-55 age dependant) DHEAs: 2 ng/ml (2-23 age dependant) Cortisol*: 3 ng/ml (3.7-9.5) (*note my AM cortisol was upper end of range a couple of months prior, and I had had a crap night's sleep before this sample). I see a local PA on Monday who does bioindentical hormones, and I'd love to be be queried by this group to understand better. The only book I've read is Uzzi Reiss's newest one (Superwoman something). Thanks so very much, Joy in Texas PS I tried to send this but yahoogroups did not take it so resending.
