Guest guest
This makes no sense. But if it's working than perhaps it's ok for you. Your dr obviously might not be informed. But who knows maybe it works? I would never do it that way. Not with p for sure. Liz My Dr. has me on estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. ALL in one syringe and all at the same time, all month. Skipping one day a week. I was thinking progesterone was only at the 2 weeks prior to the cycle. Does anyone else have this same schedule? Thank you. Guest guest
Do you have a uterus? If not, why the progesterone? If so, have you had an ultrasound to see if your P is protecting your uterus? Does blood work indicate you are low testosterone? How much of each substance is in a dose? What kind of estrogen? Guest guest
According to the pharmacy, this is done quite a lot, but it just doesn't " sound right. " Was just wanting to know what everyone else thought, so I thank you all for your thoughts and ideas on this. > > According to my doctor this kind of schedule is very dangerous. > > Sheree > > > > ________________________________ > > To: rhythmicliving > Sent: Mon, June 11, 2012 9:32:02 AM > Subject: BHRT all together > > > My Dr. has me on estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. Guest guest
Hi there,My suggestion would be to listen to your instincts. It's your body, if it doesn't feel right let your dr know and if you are not being heard, move on. Don't let them make it feel like it's you. Guest guest
The problem with it is that you can't adjust your dosing. The whole balance thing has taken me 2 years so far. Sometimes when my adrenals are struggling, my testosterone all converts to estradiol and then when they are doing ok, it goes to testosterone. It may be done a lot, but that doesn't mean its a good thing.
