Guest guest
.... sometimes I learn the hard way, so here's to prevent someone else from doing the same: I spent way too much time researching and decided on http://www.sharpsinc.com/store/medical-waste-recovery.html?size=36 30 gallon with 6 2 gal sharps containers, mailback system, for $280 with all fees then realized that Medical systems of Denver () is a much better deal: 28 gallon container (pick up when full) for $97 total. No containers included but https://www.pulmolab.com/-c-21_41.html would cost like $65 for 5 3 gallon containers so total price ~$165. I realize that company is local, but I'm sure a similar one exists in most cities. Hopefully this tip saves someone some $. I did, however, realize one way to save sharps space: For shots, we only use needles where you can take the needle off the syringe, not the permanently attached. Needle goes into sharps container, syringe into trash. It might take me a year to fill my 30 gal sharps bin. Any Denver IMP want to buy some of my sharps disposal space?!
