Guest guest
Ring central is not hard I can help youI can do it so you canI am not all that bright--Currently sobbing over quarterly 941 forms and payroll,FUTA. and moreSo sorry about oneboxI hate techWho started this imp thing anyway??Sent from my iPod So, my onebox main email was hijacked, we have changed the password, but it seems they continue to send "a large volume of outgoing mail" I run my fax, voicemail, call forwarding to my cell phone and to my nurse after hours etc... all through onebox, like a lot of you guys do. I am still not receiving voicemails from patients to the main line, unless I log into onebox. Previously I would get forwarded messages to another email address, but I think they are blocking the address because of the large volume of emails going out. Here's the deal, the tech support people seem to be clueless. It looks like there might be two passwords on my admin account, but they really can't seem to understand the problem. I think I have spent about 15 hours on the phone with them, including their "supervisor" who, swear to god, left me a voicemail after we were disconnected that said "I think the problem is that your email adddress was hijacked and they are sending a lot of emails, you should change your pasword" Seriously! AARGH! Does anyone have any freaking idea what to do next? My thought is to cancel with them and go with ring central. I'm just worried it will be hard Whine Whine Whine Kris
Guest guest
I switched to Quickbooks Online, and they do the 941 forms, payroll, FUTA. They file them electronically, and even back you up if the system makes a mistake. It is easy and worth the $25/mo that I pay them for payroll. All I had to do was set up the employees in the system, enter their hours every other week, and after a few clicks, it is all done :-) So much easier than the old-fashioned way! Guest guest
i use phone.com come for voice and ring central for fax - happy to give input on either and both work great for meas an fyi - i agree with karen - i use Qbooks payroll for my 1 employee (me) and it's flawless sending forms - i found that if you just buy the qbooks and payroll package together (ebay for 175), it's cheaper than renewing payroll services each year (and you get to have the updated qbooks version yearly) Jean: solo/ solo= no payroll tax, etc I decided. Guest guest
Does Quick Books Payroll let you set up automatic bank transfers for employees and the various tax entities or is that something you do separately? Guest guest
payment for taxes is done electronically - you register for your federal and state e-payment pin # (different from e-file pin#) and enter that into quickbooks and payment goes automatically. i believe direct deposit for employees is extra (but i don't think expensive). I don't do that since i am my only employee, I just do a automatic monthly transfer through my banks website Does Quick Books Payroll let you set up automatic bank transfers for employees and the various tax entities or is that something you do separately? Guest guest
Yes! However, because of the way that the state of CA requires Sole Shareholders to report taxes, I do pay those separately. But, if Steve didn't exempt himself from State Disability, I wouldn't have to do that and could just let QB do everything! QB does automatic deposit for paying my employees and does automatic payments to the IRS for the taxes. I only pay the state of CA separately, and am wondering if the small amount that we save by not having to pay SDI is really worth the extra time that I spend paying it myself.
