Guest guest
My son started having tics/OCD (hand washing) last week. I looked up PANDAS and he fits the profile. He was having some PANDAS behavior, but the tics brought it to my attention. He had strep/scarlet fever 2 yrs ago. We are get some blood work done next week, but in the meantime, I am wondering if anyone has seen the PANDAS issue improve with adding in Imunovir. I am trying to avoid antibiotics because of his delicate stomach/past poor response to antibiotics, but will try them as a last resort. He is on a good diet and am looking into adding in more probiotics (without strep strains) and glutathione again to support his system. Guest guest
Although Imunovir may improve his immune system and it's response to strep, it won't eliminate it. I had chronic strep and, with it, lots of OCD, anxiety, etc. My strep titers were around 2,000 when I began Ery-Tab and now they're hovering around the 600 range. Still high but my anxiety and OCD are so much better. It's amazing. I really thought I was losing it before long-term antibiotic therapy. I do have to up the antifungals and probiotics, but it's worth it. Guest guest
> Hi Dana > Ive been reading your replies on the strep topic and am very interested as my 3 yr old son had 2+ alpha haem.strep in his CDSA. 9 months ago .At the time he did not have strep issues but in the last few weeks since starting enhansa/valtrex he has developed alot of tics. Many parents have discovered that Enhansa will actually *increase* yeast if the child has latent viruses. So therefore you might consider that the tics might be caused by yeast instead of by strep. >>Is olive leaf something that you see working rather quickly (like in a few days) and do you need to treat for months. I gave it for two years, but I was using it for viruses as well as strep. From what I understand, if it is just addressing a strep issue, it should work relatively quickly. Guest guest
Thanks Dana He is on diflucan/GSE and biotin-thought i had yeast covered but i guess he has a huge viral burden that he needs to shake and that is stirring up horrendus yeast. his poop(diarrhoea) is " bubbly " .I was hoping that to be yeast die off but maybe its yeast escalating!I think i will send off another CDSA/OAT and see where we are up to. Thanks so much for you support > > Hi Dana > > Ive been reading your replies on the strep topic and am very interested as my 3 yr old son had 2+ alpha haem.strep in his CDSA. 9 months ago .At the time he did not have strep issues but in the last few weeks since starting enhansa/valtrex he has developed alot of tics. > > > Many parents have discovered that Enhansa will actually *increase* yeast if the child has latent viruses.
