Guest guest
Sounds great. We have UpDox for faxing, portal and plan to sign on for higher fee for extended services- on line scheduling, on line patient registration that uploads to AC and online patient payment. Not sure we'll use all but exploring it.We have two main concerns: one that seems like once a month or more their server goes down? We're not sure but when we print to UpDox from AC it won't appear in UpDox and then will batch load at a later date. Not a big deal when faxing out consult letters but would be a big deal if using scheduling system.Second concern is specific to the integration of our practice management. Will be interested to hear others comments Aug 1. Weakland, MDBallard Neighborhood Doctors5416 Ave NWSeattle, WA 98107Phone: Fax: I have long thought updox interesting but obscureTheir website not very helpfulBut I have been talking to them lately as I look for a way to create a medical neighborhood/a community for coordinationThey do hipaaand ba and have many services freeI suggest we explore all this on the nest imp call Wed Aug 1Sent from my iPod Thanks Lynn. They really hide that link! I wasn't finding it but I knew it was there somewhere and in my email to the privacy officer, had asked about it. The link the privacy officer included in their reply below is NOT secure according to Firefox, Safari and IE. I am going to trial the Updox online scheduling- it would be nice to have a more compliant system- with more functionality and for only $4 more per month than what I'm paying now for AQ. In it, they state that they provider an encryption certificate when using the https address.... unfortunately, as I've looked at this the last few days, I cannot connect to the secure site- I am re-directed to the non-secure site and there is no confirmation of security in any of 3 browsers I've tried. This may spell the end of AQ for me. Anyone using Updox for scheduling with AC?Thank you for contacting AppointmentQuest with your questions. 1.
