I don't use cheesecloth for sprouting. I reuse a plastic peanutbutter

jar after I drilled a bunch of holes in the lid. I'd had rather used a

glass jar but I didn't have one the size I wanted. Just make certain

the holes are small enough for what you're sprouting and you do not

overfill as I did and I had a heck of a time prying out the sprouts.

Cheese cloth over the top of a canning jar.... or screen (like in the screen doors) over a jar or in a plastic square container that you can lift it out...
