Guest guest
This is my first time posting a message.I've been reading everyone messages for some time and learning from them and thanking everyone for your posting and was wondering, if you get a fresh root from PB if you put it in a Vac food saver bag in the ref., how long would it last for tincturing?Expectally if you wanted to wait for a new moon? I also hear that orange peels you should not eat because of the oils that are in it, I have never heard that before, is this true? I always thought they were good for you. I was also wondering if one buys seed from PB (like lobelia or any seeds) can you plant them and grow your own as well as making a tinctur from them. Thank you for all respones Jean
Guest guest
Trish, welcome! And good for you for being concerned to learn more about PA so you can better help deal with it. He's blessed to have you. Yes, it's pretty well accepted even in the medical community that stress exacerbates PA. And it's a vicious cycle - the sicker we are from our PA, the more stress and anxiety that causes, and that just makes us flare more and so on forever. That being said, it is not a " mental " illness nor an emotional one. It's physical, but stress just complicates it more. One of the best things you can do for your husband is to understand that this is not his fault and that he is not doing anything to cause it nor is there anything much he can do to make it better. Most of us get extra stress from our families somehow thinking and sometimes insinuating that we are bringing this on ourselves. Or that if we " just do thus-and-such " everything would be better. It may help you to know what I WISH my husband would say to me every day. I wish he would say, " I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I know you don't like being sick and tired all the time. I wish I could fix it. But I want you to know I will be with you right by your side and help you any way I can. " He has said things like this from time to time, and it always makes me feel SO MUCH better and so loved and understood. When he talks like this, I can feel stress literally floating away from my body. And sometimes that does help relieve some of my PA symptoms, or at least it gives me more strength to bear it. Thanks so much for joining us! Bless you! sherry z > > Hi...my name is Trish. My husband is bigjkahuna
