For all the people taking, or that have taken dofetilide, How often did your

doctor tell you to have your QTc checked, and what was the reading????

When first on Dofetilide you have a ECG before the first dose, then 2 hour after

another ECG. OCT is part of the ECG.

If it does not go below 500ms then you can carry on with the medication. I

believe mine at no drug was 360ms and it went to 400ms. It did go up to 500ms

but only for a very brief time.

thanks much , MY wife was checking up on dofetilide, I guess, and forgot her

name on the list. I just had a cardio appointment, and had my QT checked, and

she was a bit worried on what could be happening on other drugs. I have only

bveen having it checked every 6 months. How often do you get yours checked.???

Currently, Im on sotalol, 160mg 2x and run between 450 and 500. Don't know what

it was before meds, but cardio seems to think that Im well within my limits, and

does not think any changes are necessary. thanks for the info, walt in rainy
