IMPS, HAD I invested my money in United Healthcare from 1993-1997 instead of my medical tuition. I would now own 1.85 million shares of the company worth 110 million dolars. Dividend payments to me this year would be $391,000. We must remove the insurance companies from the equation. To: Sent: Thursday, July 26, 2012 12:38 PM Subject: IMP Camp 2012

Good afternoon everybody,

It is my distinct pleasure to announce that registration for IMP Camp 2012 is now open. Probably the easiest way to register is to go through the website

http://www.impcenter.org/

Please click on the appropriate area and it will take you to the registration page on event brite.

I think the aim should be to have a record attendance this year. Do I even need to mention some of the great reasons for going?

1. Excellent, stimulating, accredited continuing medical education

2. Hobnob and learn from innovative, great people (such as yourself!)

3. San Diego in October-it should be nice! Airfare, especially from the East Coast is amazingly cheap. Check it out now!

Please feel free to contact me personally if you have any issues at all-

cell-

mailto:lspikol%40ptd.net

Over the next few weeks, there will be further announcements as well as some very pleasant nagging.

Regards,

Lou Spikol

And now we can't buy shares because we are doctors! This is a crying shame! To: Sent: Wednesday, August 1, 2012 2:20 PM Subject: RE: Investing in United healthcare instead of medical school

Sorry - I'd still rather stick pins in my eye than EVER invest in United

I don't care how rich I would have been.

At least I am (probably) doing something worthwhile and not some parasitic fat

cat scumbag.

I can go to sleep with my conscience not pricking me at night - worth a lot to

me.

Lynn,Think of all the good we could do if every IMP had done that and we had all that $$$!

Maybe best not to think about it!

Geez! Doesn't that say it better than anything? This system is totally rigged and sucks. Thanks for the info, depressing as it is.
