Has everyone seen the latest statistic on the rate of autism? It's now 1 per 100

based on the new data!?The rate continues to increase with no end in sight. This

is truly an epidemic and a major health crisis!

I feel like no one seems to care, unless they are directly affected ;-(

There is an apathy unless you are directly impacted. My own brother and

sister don't seem to get the enormity of the problem (and they both HAVE

boys on the spectrum, but they are totally in denial about it).

Dr Goldberg has always said you can't have a genetic epidemic or a developmental

disorder epidemic - it has to be infectious or environmental.

I'm curious just how many of the kids with autism tested positive for the virus,

if it is as striking as CFS - surely it is.  I can't wait to see it published.

So now, we have a microbe (or soon, with autism, I hope) - so now we will have

an infectious epidemic.  Doctors will pay a lot more attention to that.

And it even addresses the vaccine controversy - you don't vaccinate a sick kid

with an active viral infection.
