I want to implement the diet with my son but I'm having some issues due to

his allergies. My son has an IgE allergy to wheat, soy, bananas, and eggs.

Many fruits are problematic for him so I tend to stay away from fruits. What

bread products (crackers, breads, bagels) can anyone recommend? Which grains

are problematic for kids on this diet? I know brown rice flour and tapioca

flour cause problems, but are there others? Thanks for your help.

I don't think it's that simple for everyone. I think you have to do what works

for your kid. My child can't eat many things recommended on the diet,

though we have been doing nids for a year now.

My daughter cannot eat any gluten, nuts, most fruits, soy, preservatives, dyes,

eggs, and more.

My daughter is doing very very well and we keep her diet very safe now, but I

suspect it will not always be that way. For now I am doing what works, and each

child is different, we just have to be our child's own " investigator "

Hope this helps,
