Does anyone do consults completely over the phone? We live in Canada and

cannot afford to go to the US for medical care for our son.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi , hi everyone.

While I haven't joined in the dialogue for a long time, my son has been a

patient of Dr. G's for 7 years.

We live in Canada and after an initial consult with Dr. Goldberg in the

beginning, we have maintained our son as a patient all this time with our

monthly blood work and phone consults.

While Dr. G has suggested a number of times that he would like to see my son

again, the cost to do the trip is expensive and Dr. Goldberg understands

that. We choose to spend our money on the medication AND the phone consults

with the help of a supportive Dr. here in Canada to rewrite the

prescriptions.

The NY clinic is in upstate New York, so depending where you live in

this great big country of ours, perhaps a drive there might be an option and

then maintain via phone consults.

I believe it is illegal for a doctor to treat a patient that they have not

physically seen.

I have not ever regretted, even for one minute in all these years, the

decision to see Dr. Goldberg. It is worth every cent you and every cent you

don't have to get your child healthy and give him or her a bright future..

All the best,

Lori

Dr. G is always looking for dark circles under the eyes and how " sharp " the kids

are. It seems like you'd want to try to seem him at least once a year or

whenever possible.
