IMP website news and invitation

Hi folksWould like to   make you aware of the   new Ideal Medical Practices website  impcenter.org-Lots of work has gone into this for months and  it is approaching( still some work  to  be done) the kind of website we think  folks have asked for and will get alot out of

-We designed it to be a place strongly for members  to collect and talk and share in a  more fucnitonal way than the lsit serv,  and as well to  show off our  work as a non profit  and as well to  be a place you can send say  payors or reporters for information  about our work.(YOUR work)  A repository of all our tools will be there

  -You can be a free member or join imp ,and  use the site in different ways- Soon there will be a general forum like this list serv but more  protected and private-There are right  now groups for   discussion on selected topics--and anyone   who is a member can set up a group on a topic you want to talk about That is way cool!1  -- so  AC users can talk and folks going to CAMp can talk and folks thinking about aggregation  can talk and the  lipid  discussion   could  have a group set up to  share what they know  etc --- without plowing through  many emails on other topics

 

-The imp calls are there  to listen  to with announcements  about the dates and topics of future ones and the ability to comment o n the calls,   You get CME when you come to OR listen to , the calls-The wiki and map are there

 -You can, on the group discussions post documents and share info- say your forms

 -Your can create a profile about yourslef and  if  IMP A wants to send a message internally through the site to IMP B who is doing the same work you can do that on the site -over 50 people are registered there already

-It is your site it is the pace to go to for community and information and sharing and CMEPlease use it - if you cannot register ask  me or Carla Gibson  would you? Carla has helped  us put this site together and  has spent long hrs much appreciated getting this site  wonderfully  functional

-Stil l to add  will be some polishing to make pages more professional  in layout, as we went for function  first ,and soon to come will be  our  curriculum, more about HYH,  links to  the BOD and nonprofits financial work

Did you know that YOU can get a grant to support your work  and  IMP as the 501c3  could  hold it for you-often individuals cannot get grants but a nonprofit can be the recipient and hold the money for you  I did this to help me with a nurse care coordinator  I would not have been able to recieve money   not being a nonprofit  but IMP can help with these services  for tis members  ( ask first)

  Please become involved IMP can do some very good work if we are focused and organize Now  we have a website that can help us
