Dr. P didn't do the test; another holistic did. The first test, corstisol was

low throughout the day; Siga was a 4 (ref 25-40). The second test where I was

revving, I don't know, because I was

already cross-country and the doc's office didn't send page 2. My blood IgAs

appear normal to this point.

Sorry that Dr. P couldn't help you. Did he do basically Seriphos and adrenals,

or did you go use the machines too?

No Seriphos. Just licorice, ACE and glandulars. Yes, I did machines every

day for a week. Licorice does help. I can't say the machines didn't help

b/c they made me and everyone else there so fatigued b/c they seem to make

the adrenals shut down and rest. Staying there is the first time I

consistently slept for like 10-11 hours every day (I usually get 8 hours or

less sometimes). By the end of the week Dr. P did his blood pressure test

where he tests you both sitting and standing and he said I had improved a

little. So who knows, maybe if I were to stay there for a long time I could

get decent improvement. All I'm saying is that other than licorice I don't

think ACE and glandulars helped at all. In fact, when I came off of them

abruptly I couldn't tell any difference.

Interesting. I took a combo licorice-ginseng for a couple of months; and when I

went off, I didn't notice the difference either; in fact, I felt better. Who

knows, they may have been behind the

shift in my cortisol profile. But straight licorice paste I couldn't handle -

dried my mouth out, I thought I'd utterly dehydrate.

Of all the stuff, Seriphos interested me the most. Calming down the HPA - who

wouldn't want to do that without drugs? I don't understand why he didn't use

it, for all the bally-hoo his book

gives it.
