HUMANA wants to buy my practice

Somebody from HUMANA called me today. He said they would like to buy my practice and hire me to work there....Does anybody have any experience with this sort of deals? How much will you sell a practice and how do you make that determination? what are the pros and cons?I am solo IMP with no staff...thanks

Steve says, if you want to make less money for more work, by all means sell. If you are in CA, this is illegal, as only physicians can hire physicians to see patients. I would run, not walk. Having almost sold our practice 2 years ago, we are blessed to report that we are still surviving on our own, and much happier doing so. Pratt

Open up negotiations and get plenty of details.

Then thank them for their offer and turn them down.
