Guest guest
If you have malpractice for your whole practice you can add employees on in case they do something that brings liability to the practice, but it is wise for the nurse to carry his/her own policy in case he/she does anything else at anytime....volunteers at a camp, gives advice to a neighbor etc. It very inexpensive for nurses. The American Nurses Assoc. Endorses NSO for malpractice insurance. I would check them out. Always get occurrance based ins and not incident based insurance then you dont need tail coverage etc. I always keep my own ins just in case. For NPs they would get insurance for themselves or the practice from a branch of NSO called HSPO. I even have a name if you want a direct email. I have been very pleased. My business insurance is elsewhere though. BTW, we had lightening strike our house, so I will email everyone who wants copies of the forms when I get access to them.TammyConnected by DROID on Verizon Wireless
