Hi Kay, I would take your pup to the vet and get meds for the Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). The vet should take a sample of the urine and culture it to determine the correct medication to use, NOT just prescribe an antiboitic. UTI's are nothing to be sneezed at, and can spread to the kidneys if left for too long. After the UTI has cleared up, you can give cranberry capsules which will stop the bacteria from adhering to the bladder walls, but I have heard that they will not help during a UTI. I've heard of Parsley being used in humans to treat UTI's, so if you can get your pup to eat some, it might help. (I have parsley on the brain today!) Good luck, and the K9's I have a puppy who had a bladder infection. He seemed to have gotten over it, but now, he has another one. Any ideas how to get it cured once and for all?
