True he is recently interested in chinese medicine, which is great. Maybe it

will give way to more options for us. He gives antifungals only because of the

antiviral stiring up the yeast, but I don't believe he would rx it if it didn't.

I don't feel that he believes that sone of these kids have issues with yeast

anyway. Since nov he has put my son on 6 antibiotics because of fluid in the

ear (not infection) & wanting to prevent infection, and does not believe me when

I resist the rx because it hurts my son's stomach, ie vomiting, not eating, 5

days no bm, white tongue, and increased behaviors & regression. He is currently

suggesting another round of antibiotics as his ears have fluid again. He does

not believe that antibiotics hurt the gut. And for constipation, its the same

rx, mineral oil, citricel. He is onthe money though with virus, ssri,s, and

behavior plan. And he loves our kids. I just feel much of the stomach issues are

not addressed. Maybe my son's the only patient with these issues.

Hi

we use betaine with added pepsin before meals you can get it on GAPS

website,if stomach acid is low you will always fight a battle with gut

issues,i addition to keeping yeast under control,it has for us meant perfect

bowel movements and believe it or not much better form, prob due to no

stomach aches.

for infections collidal silver is fantastic,we use in combination with OLE

and cant remember the last time we had an antibiotic.pustilla a homeopathic

remedy is brillant for ear infections.I agree sometimes you need antibiotics

we used zithromax to get streph infection under control, but for recurrent

infections why not try the altenatives,if they dont work you can always

goback antibiotic route.we find mindlinx probiotics good

good luck

Have you asked him about probiotics? He does recommend Kyodophilus. He is

leery of many probiotics because they have bacteria in them which are not

native to the human digestive tract, and he feels they can throw things off.

Before Dr. G and in our first year with Dr. G, my son had recurrent sinus

issues/ear infections (he had chronic thick, green-snot runny nose). I had

eliminated dairy/casein, gluten and soy. He had several rounds of

antibiotics for this, plus 4 sets of ear tubes and had his adenoids removed.

Then I got smart and removed all corn (including corn syrup) - voila!

Does Dr. G have your son on an antihistamine?

Yes he has my son on rhinocort, claritin, and trim pm for sinus/ear drainage.

Full diet for a year. All that. Last week his tymp showed fluid in both ears, he

wanted the 7th rd of antibiotics. To double check, I am just leaving ent now and

they found 1 ear drained on its own, and the other on its way. Ent said he does

not need antibiotics & recognized that they seem to be hurting him. They don't

work for him, and just tear up his stomach. Crying in pain! I just scheduled to

put in tubes. We need to move on desperately.

Do you give him corn & products with corn ingredients? They may be the issue.

That was the issue for my son.

I will look in to that, thanks. He has very little stuff with corn, and no
