It could definitely be die off behavior. For us, depending on the individual

(three of us--two adults and one child are on acyclovir) it lasted from 10 to 21

days, with my husband being 21 days. Hopefully you'll see a happier, brighter

kid on the other side.

all the best,

Robyn

Subject: Acyclovir die off

Did anyone have OCD behavior with die off? We are in our 10th day of really bad

we hope this is really die off.

You name it he is doing it all from tantruming(throwing everything) crying to

autistic behavior(spinning tiptoe walking ect.) we havn`t seen in yrs. not

eating as well as before, not sleeping like before.

Praying all this will be over for him & family soon & he will feel better.

Thanks

Carole

I will pass this on to my daughter. We actually never seen any of this with the

other antiviral.

This is what we went through. It doesn't just abruptly end, it fairly quickly

melts away. The good news is the more difficult the die off period the more

improved he will be after.

Carole,

That is probably good news. My husband's die off was really intense, but he came

out of it so much better off. I wish I could get a die off like that!

All the best and keep us posted,

Robyn

Robyn-

If you don't mind me asking.....what is the strength of Acyclovir you and your

husband are taking? Also, are you on Ery-Tab as well? I am most definitely

looking forward to not being so easliy exhausted!!!

Thanks!

I take EryTab three times per day and Acyclovir five times per day. I believe

the Acyclovir is 500mg. Not sure though; I'll have to check the bottle.

All the best,

Robyn
