Guest guest
, My first question is "How bad does he want to get rid of the arthritis?" and my reason for asking is he is going to have to change his eating habits pretty drastically... Is he willing to go there??? He needs to give up the milk (try rice milk)... give up the soda, more lemon water, herbal teas (hot or cold), fresh juices, he needs to cut back on the meat ( and then organic without all the chemicals) if not totally. Bread should only be sprouted flour, ezekiel, etc... Pasta (unless you're making your own or buying sprouted - best to give it up.. (I know, I can hear him already... but tell him I speak from experience with arthritis... of the kneecap) More veggies and fruits.. Mega doses MSM for starters, along with organic iron, organic calcium (in the files) Don't know what a Qsmart bar is... He'll really hate me for the omitting the beer... but he needs to give his body what it needs to heal.. and he really isn't giving it much, other than grief trying to work on digesting ... it can't even begin to address any problems going on. If you could get him to do some fasting that would be good also. Or at least drink (fresh juices) some of his meals.. He basically has *Breakfast: cereal w/milk, grapefruite juice and decaf coffee. *Mid morning: applesauce with powedered medicine for cholesterol in it *Lunch is a sandwich, a piece of fruit and a soda *PM snack is usually a banana - if he is really hungry he will have a Qsmart bar (9 g carbs *Dinner is whatever we paln. Some kind of meat, usually packaged pasta rice (time is a problem) and a vegetable. Maybe a sweet thing for dessert. Like cookies, cake, pie - whatever is around. Don't bake much so he is lucky to get the cookies. *After dinner ha mey have one or two low carb beers. Guest guest
Nope. Sorry. The only "sugar-type" thing that is actually good for you is stevia. And I don't bake with it or use it on cereal or anything. I use the liquid by Herbal Authority in tea, and that's about it. Sharyn From: Reilly [mailto:setlikeflint@...] Can't win, can I? Guest guest
Well, ask him exactly how badly would he like to get rid of his arthritis? If he isn't up for the changes, don't waste your energy over it. In January I went North to Philadelphia for a week to attend a bar mitzvah and pack up my car and drive it down....while I was gone my dh watched a low-carb show (or two or three -- he's addicted to the FoodTV Network<G>) and went out and bought a ton of products with Splenda in them. When I saw the cupboards when I arrived home, I just emailed him (from my office on one side of the house to his office on the other<G>) several links like the one I just posted here. After reading them he went through and tossed everything he'd bought with Splenda in it. Sharyn From: Reilly [mailto:setlikeflint@...] Well, I use stevia, but my DH does not. You owe it to your family to set an example of a healthy lifestyle being able to do that. If no one hasn't already sent you the address for Mercola's health plan, here it is. <http://www.mercola.com/nutritionplan/> I'm not saying you have to follow it. I'm only suggesting you read it. Its several pages long. PLEASE NOTE; he suggests things to be done in stages. Note only is it easier to integrate a healthy lifestyle into one's routine that way but, there's also less of a chance your body would protest and put you into what integrative therapies have come to call a " healing crisis " . Good luck with your adventure. Penel

Guest guest
I made Suzi's recipe for Deep Tissue Bone and Muscle Repair Oil. I use it myself and gave some to a friend who has bad arthritis in her hands. She loves it! So do I, for that matter. Guest guest
For anyone who is allergic to ragweed, chamomile is in the same family. I can't drink it at all. Sinuses clog up, eyes water, I am allergic. Blessings, Joy As far as the amounts, I will let Mystic answer. When I do take an aura bath, I use ten drops (or more) of Lavender and two cups of epsom salts. Not only is the an aura cleaner, it relaxes and soothes the entire body. When my back or hip or shoulders start paining me, it's bath time. Guest guest
My Spirit Sister is the same way. She can drink chamomile and is allergic to ragweed. I think it has to be how sensitive your allergy is. Mine is bad.
