Guest guest
Hey , Not to add a worry (yeah right), but I have PANDAS (mostly in remission right now), and probiotics are one of my bigger triggers, so observe carefully...  Lactobacillus can be negative, but not for everyone... But avoid culturelle at all costs. He is also on clonidine which Canada's closest version of Tenex. We don't have Tenex here in Canada. Cipralex is Canada's Lexapro. He is now having facial tics and grunts and is not very nice at school. I would appreciate some help with this. I have ordered the probiotics from Harry at Custom Probiotics and they should be here next week.
Guest guest
My son is almost 24. If I knew then what I know now, I would never have tried any medications to correct his behavior. None worked and most caused problems that were worse than the behavior they were intended to correct. We have tried practically every antidepressant and behavior altering drug out there. Serquol was by far the worst. This one sent us to the hospital via police. clondine was a life saver. It helped to keep him somewhat calm until the medication wore out of his system. I have some real horror stories dealing with different types of medications. With my son I knew that he was in pain but the doctors keep trying to treat him for mental rather than physical problems. I wish I had never given him any mood altering medication. Now I only give him medication to treat his stomach issues and tylenol for pain. Life is much better. He still has issues but usually work thru in a short time. I no longer feel the need to fix each one immediately. Please be careful what you give your child especially if it is not designed to treat his problem or meant to be used by children. We don't know what the long term effect will be. I refuse to allow my child to be used as a test animal any longer. > > Hey , > Not to add a worry (yeah right), but I have PANDAS (mostly in remission right now), and probiotics are one of my bigger triggers, so observe carefully...  Lactobacillus can be negative, but not for everyone... Guest guest
Hi . My wish is that I knew exactly what I was dealing with (ie. is this metals, immune, birth issues as I took many acetaminophen while pregnant because of pit tumour, is it stomach, Virchow ribbons spaces – etc, etc.) I have sent my file off to the NNY Autism Centre and I hope that they will tell me what they thing is causing the issues. I have ordered the Complete Probiotics from Harry as per Dr. G’s recommendation. Another big problem is that there subtle (and few) red flags with ’s blood work. They are not really high or really low – they are not out of wack enough to cause the drs to treat him. I had his total & complete CDs done and hopefully something will come back that we can treat. Thanks for your help.
