Yes, I agree, in certain cases there are going to be identifiable genetic

causes (Fragile X is a classic example) of autism.

But the majority of autism cases are not going to fall into that category.

For those who do have an identifiable genetic disorder, maybe they will be

the salvation of the rest of the children... when researchers find out what

those genes DO, that may bring about the answers and medications we have all

been hoping for.
