We use Skippy but as far as I know he only says no organic peanut butter. I

researched this and the difference is when peanut butter is processed they

remove the bitter kernel in the center. Organic Peanut butter generally does

not. I have seen Connor melt on peanuts (Sent him to a ball game with a friend).

We definitely go nuts on Coconut, not all kids but it kills Connor.

cream by a company called " Purely Decadent " . Ive let my son have a small amount

and have seen no negative reaction. Its really good, tastes like real ice cream.

We don't do peanut butter or any nuts, one son has peaunut allergy. I don't know

what the recommendation is on coconut specifically, but the FDA considers

it a tree nut for labeling purposes. At the very least I would assume you could

consider it a tropical fruit, which I thought was a no-no. All I know is our son

really loses it on coconut, so we avoid for that reason.

NO! I just got back from Dr G and he absolutely said no tropical fruits such as

coconut or pineapple. I, too, found Purely Decadent for my son when we started

dairy/casein free months ago before we saw Dr. G. It was one of the only dairy

free ice creams that tasted so good!

We started over and found one by Living Harvest called Tempt which is made with

hemp milk and tastes really good too.
