Guest guest
Thank you for your reply Tracey and sharing your own story-I may well look into this when we are over this latest crisis- at the moment they're coming thick and fast. What I have noticed is that with kids with high toxin levels, impaired colon function either backed up or with leaky gut type issues, that toxic loading in liver may be a problem leading to jaundice. When I was down seeing Scotson some time ago there was a young child who had begun her treatment with , with a tube into her stomach, and bright yellow in colour. As 's TST (The Scotson Technique) programme developed with the corresponding improvement in oxygenation, bowel function and improved metabolism of food, this little person lost the yellow colour, and is no longer tube fed.- This child had global disabilities so it is unclear whether there was an autism trait to her. Scotson is a lady who through her journey to recover her profoundly disabled CP son, discovered that there is a common element in children and people with Neurological issues.- They all have impaired breathing mechanisms.. which impacts on the way the body can be used.. often the body shuts down some neural functions to protect the core ones. There are a number of us on the group who are using TST and have had great gains... My journey is slightly different in that my DD never had an ASD diagnosis, but did regress significantly at 2, no talking, sleeping mega bowel issues.... and we have used homeopathics and other holistics to allow her to be a high achiever NT mainstream schooled girl..... however her profound problem has been complex seizures which have not been either lessened or controlled with drugs. We have been doing TST for 17 months and are currently on our 14th week seizure free... the longest period since she was 11 months old.. and she is nearly 18. There is a separate file section within the yahoo group which has a lot more explanatory information about TST. Best Wishes Tracey Hi Tracey, Just found your email - so there is a link between jaundice in children and autism? Who is Scotson and what is TST if you wouldn't mind telling me? Many thanks, Janet To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: thelifechangers@... Perhaps Helios homeopathic pharmacy could give you to a good remedy..... also many of the kids that see Scotson often arrive very yellow with jaundice and within a few months of doing TST it goes as body functional levels improve . Best Wishes Tracey Hi, In blood tests its been picked up that ds has jaundice (his skin has had a yellowy tinge for a good few weeks) - it is the type that the high bilirubin is there pre-liver. Had initially thought it might be due to a blocked duct because of his ongoing impaction problem but dr says that this is not the case, there are probs before it gets to the point of being emptied into his large bowel. I was just wondering whether anybody else had had this problem with their children? I've been reading up and notice amongst the many many things that may cause this there is some implication with the failure to use B12 properly in some children which sounds familiar... Thanks Janet
