I love this group, I'm learning a lot! I'm trying to get my son on this diet as

best as possible. We have been on the G/C free for a few months 2 years ago, I

did not see a change. Until a year ago he had Silk soy milk in his bottles as I

found he was very gassy with the organic whole milk he got after going off

formula & breast milk. I have seen major reactions to splenda (uncontrolled

urination) All sugars, he wants fruit ALL the time. Apples and oranges mostly.

Fruit must be hidden in the cupboards. Juice is a no no over one small 4 oz box

a day to hide probitics in or he will have uncontrollable diarrhea.

I found the tofutti cutie bars at a store near me and was so happy but after he

ate 2 of them he got big dark rings under his eyes, his face got puffy and he

paced while looking down and wouldn't respond for some time then had to take a

very restless nap in which I'm not sure he actually slept for 45 mins. Very

similar reaction to when he got a bee sting. (I keep an epi pen in the kitchen)

So UGH just like everyone I'm frustrated and cannot seem to find things to feed

him. Suggestions most welcome. Also do you think it was the soy or the coconut

in the ice cream bars?

One more thing as I cram my post full XD Anyone else that their child gets

rashes, what kind? and any pics? I don't think what my son gets is impetigo. It

comes with heat (which he cannot tolerate) and stress.

Thanks for ALL input! Jess
