Guest guest
I used to live in Dallas and we still go there all the time. Our best friends live in Rowlett. It's only 6 1/2 hrs from my house to the edge of FT Worth and another 45 min to Rowlett. That's not too far is it? You could have been here by dinner!!! I'm not beating myself up too bad from eating the enchies, they were soooooooogood and soooooooooworth it! And I ran 2 miles late in the afternoon then just had raw vegies for dinner. I'm just glad she has some leftovers! UMMMMMM! You might better pray for me! NM Re:Report in please > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > > > > > > > I did 100 LL breath stretches today. Guest guest
I'm sorry, I lied. They used to live in Rowlett, and now are in Rockwall. They used to have an oil changing place in Rowlett on the main st. (I can't remember the name) but they have been doing construction on the road for the past 2 or 3 yrs. They might be through by now. Wow! what a small world! We were just there a couple of months ago, and go 2 or 3 times a yr to see them. I'll bring you some of moms enchiladas when I come next time! You would love them. Their name is Marlyn and Barbara and they are just the best. Real down home folks. Cost of living is cheaper and real estate is cheaper, and you can't beat the climate......although now's not a good time to talk about it........temp's dipped in the upper 30's last night, but today's in the high 50's......normal for this time is about 70!! Guest guest
So you're in the Dallas area? My brother in law is in Dallas, I think. He just moved to Texas. He's a computer programer for Southwestern Bell.....big bucks. He's been married for a little over a year, no kids and I believe combined they make about $80,000. Seems a lot compared to my paultry $31,000 (including benefits like housing). The base at Ingleside doesn't have military housing, but Corpus Christi does. We'll just have to see. It's further south than I've drove through in TX before. I drove I40 across and it was FLAT! I hate the idea of waiting lists, but I guess it's better than not getting any services. IF he does re-enlist, I think it will be Texas. I have a peace about going to Texas. And it's only an 18 hour drive to my parents (if we do the speed limit - hee hee) Loriann Wife to Dewight Mom to , 10 years, DS-ASD, ADHD, ODD And , 16 months and Strong Willed
Guest guest
It was 1984 the last time I drove I40 and I remember doing 80 and getting passed by everyone else on the road. I only did 80 because that's as fast as my little Chevette would go. Guest guest
I totally missed the intial post on this issue, but I enrolled my children in school w/o vaccines in Texas....its was merely a matter of signing the paper the state provides...the will have it at the school. Now daycare was a whole other matter...call me a liar, but I said they were fully vaccinated for the whole 2 days they were there....my oldest who has asthma ( due to a vaccine ) sat there wheezing all day , when I picked her up and said " OMG where the hell is her inhaler and why the **** wasn't I called or her pediatrician called..her lips are cyanotic. " there response to me was " oh she has been like that ALL day ....she's fine " Can you believe that???? Anyway, It is easy in Texas to avoid vaccines...that was my experience anyway. PS thanks sooooo much to all of you who helped with my RSV dilemma....much appreciated. Dianne Bolton, Midwife

Judi, I sent another post explaining what they are. Did you get that one??? They are trained advocates to help you get services for your kids. They will actually come to your IEP meetings and such. I think that another branch will hook you up with someone in Dallas. Sara

I also travel through there when I go to Lake ,,,,,,,,,(shhhh!!)
