Sorry. I know I have asked this question before but I forgot. Which lab do you

use to test for allergies, EBV, CMV, etc.?

Thank you,

Jill

hi Kirstly

i have all this testing like fructose malabsorption hydrogen breath testing,

which was exceptionally high, so i have to eliminate all fruits, vegetables and

foods containing fructose, fructans and sorbitol. i have also had blood testing

for IgG food antigens, which for me showed a few things, but caesin (mil

protien) egg and gluten were very severe, so i have eliminated those things from

my diet. i have just had a sucrose malabsroption test done and my dr has

suggested that i go totally sugar free, that is inclusive off things like

glucose, dextrose, maltose, isolmalt etc. this has made a huge huge difference

have had my ASD son tested and he is exactly the same with the exception of the

sugars, but his fructose was really high too. as with his blood antigens to

caesin, gluten and egg.

      Hi ,

Just curious if you follow a special diet, like the diet or something

else?

Question on SSRI and Seizures

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any connection between SSRI use

and a decrease in seizure like activity (I am suspecting seizure like

activity in my son though his EEG 2 years ago was normal). I am reading that

brain serotonin deficiency can cause temporal lobe seizures, so was curious

if anyone's child's seizures went away on SSRIs ? I guess I am wondering if

my son's seizure like jerks and freezing  could be related to brain

serotonin deficiency in addition to other low serotonin symptoms.

Thanks SO much

Jay
