Guest guest
Dr G has prescribed Strattera for our son not as an antidepressant but as an attention deficit med. He tends to prescribe mainstream SSRI's. Bear in mind that he is not treating depression in our kids with these meds, but neurotransmitter function, and with a beneficial side effect as an anti-inflammatory. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of and Freeman Sent: Wednesday, May 12, 2010 8:27 AM Subject: Strattera information My son has been on Strattera 10 mg for quite a long time now. I have read that this drug was intended as a new type of antidepressant. Does Dr. G recommend Strattera as an antidepressant or does he lean towards the main stream SSRIs?
