Guest guest
Yes , Lindy It is in my book . I have seen some picture where the eyes are very cloudy representing chronic illness and the eyes get clearer as the body become more healthy. kelly
Guest guest
I've seen two iridologists and have the basic book on it and find it interesting but not totally accurate in all cases. I think what you get with iridologists varies greatly on skill and how much they want to make you believe you are ill so you'll buy their treatments. The first I saw only did iridology, no treatments, and his reading was much more accurate. The second sold treatments and came up with all sorts of health problems that needed her specific treatment. Guest guest
>Has anyone else here had any experience with Iridology? I know what it is and have had it done on me once. > I met an Iridologist this week. She checked my son's eyes and said >that the left side of his brain is very toxic, along with his gut, >and that I should detox these areas before doing any further >chelating. well, this sounds confusing to me. I would hope that the chelating would be part of the detoxing. Did she say what SORT of toxin? All I can say is that to me chelating IS detoxing. More specifically it is heavy metal detox. However there COULD be other toxins. Moria
Guest guest
---Moria, The Iridologist does kinesiology also, and this indicated that my son's autism was caused by a combination of Hg exposure through me and my 15 Amalgam fillings and then the Hg from his vaccinations. I am a little confused about this too, since the Hg seems to be the problem...? I get confused easily anymore for obvious reasons...Maybe she mentioned something that I have forgotten...hadn't really thought of it 'til you posted...thanks. I shall call her to clarify this. She also saw weakness in his kidneys and liver, along with the toxicity in his left-brain and gut (through his eyes.) I am continuing chelation on my son this weekend, however I am cutting from 200mg to 100mg x3hrs. I just see so many " little " improvements as I continue to chelate, that I hate to stop now. (Actually I think someone else's post may be what you are replying to.) Anyway, I would take someone saying your son in Hg toxic as a reason to CONTINUE to chelate, not as a reason to stop. Maybe I missed something somewhere in the story!? --Moria >~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > > > >> > >> well, this sounds confusing to me. Guest guest
Until I went to the iridologist, I though I was a fairly healthy person. According to her, I am not! She says that I am lacking in Vit B, C and A and have issues with my spleen, liver and gallbladder. The very next day, I came down with a horrible cold that went from bad to worse. To further complicate everything, my holistic doctor is only doing preventative medicine now and does not take, insurance or medicare, so I had to go out and find a regular MD...ARG. I kept looking at my tonic and shaking it and wishing it was ready to take but it is not even two weeks old. Then my dog ran into something and ripped herself wide open. Fortunately, my daughter was here and took her to the vet for surgery - that was Tuesday and she is still there as I am too sick to deal with a dog with special needs and myself. I haven't been sick for many years so I am taking this as a warning sign that I had better get myself in shape. I'm still doing the swishing and really feel it has brought out some junk in my system. My sister now swishes and so does my daughter and they now swear by it. I don't have any proof that swishing does anything but I'm not going to give it up. Guest guest
So if you follow her advice, are your eyes going to turn blue? I once went to an iridologist and have to admit, she really blew me away with what she could see in my eyes. She told me about a head injury I had 20 yrs. before (I hadn't mentioned the fact that I had indeed had a concussion when I was 18 and ended up in the hospital for a week). She seemed to be able to tell an awful lot by looking in my eyes and much of it was true. One story she told me was about her young daughter. She always thought her daughter's eyes were brown, but when she did an iridology check on her, she discovered they were actually blue. The sludge in her system had turned them brown. About 5 yrs. later I got a job and discovered that her daughter was one of my co-workers. I remembered the story and couldn't help noticing her eyes were still a deep brown. So she either didn't follow her mother's advice or you can't make the eyes go back to blue. ;-) Gloria
Guest guest
I've had it done twice on my son, using two different naturopaths. The first one told me my son was constipated, which I didn't believe as he had daily decent-sized bowel movements. But guess what - he was constipated. Two weeks later we wound up in the emergency room as he almost passed out while at (not in) a pool. He was complaining of stomach pains and had an X-ray done, which showed he was really backed up. I was very surprised for many reasons, not the least of which the naturopath had diagnosed constipation, and I didn't believe her. The second naturopath was just recently, and although she was far more expensive and had a very good reputation, she wasn't able to help my son through iridology. Guest guest
I have an iridology wallet card and check my own eyes from time to time. I started vitamin K2 recently and noticed that my left lung section of my eye (and thus my left lung) is clearing (after about 3 months of laryngitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, etc about 10 years ago). There are a number of books on the subject. There's also reflexology. S S
Has anyone done this? I recently spoke to a local naturopath who says
he does iridology. Sounds interesting.

_______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web! Guest guest
So, do you think iridology holds value for ASD kids? Also, with iridology, will it work if the cornea is abnormal due to an autoimmune condition (not my son)? Thanks. > >
Has anyone done this? Guest guest
I think iridology may give us an idea of what's going on in someone's body that we might not otherwise recognize, but that with a book or chart one need not pay someone else to make observations. I'm not convinced that the fany, expensive cameras are needed. I think one would find a wide variety of practitioners and experience with them would therefore vary considerably. I think a practitoner who sells supplements or other products would tend to recommend some things that would not be necessary. I don't know how corneal abnormalities would play out, perhaps the differences would help one determine what is causing the abnormaility. S S
So, do you think iridology holds value for ASD kids?
