Guest guest
Hi Jan & Susie, I also have to supplement iron. Been doing it for months and every time Dr.B test my blood, I am still low. So I did some research. The iron must be a natural form (not synthetic), and you need to take it with vitamins C & B6, and not with zinc or calcium. So I made all those changes, and then I remembered: when I used to have heavy periods (many years ago), I always made sure to eat some liver--usually chopped liver at a deli. So I started making chopped chicken liver. Unable to find organic chicken livers, but we did find Amish chicken livers. My iron is still low, but now in the acceptable range. Dr. B says keep it up (but would prefer organic if we could find it). I don't know if I'll ever be able to go back to being a vegetarian ... Guest guest
Lymies feeling cold is often a symptom of hyPOthyroidism... Extra Virgin Organic Coconut Oil can warm up the body, but doses need to get to 4 - 6 Tbsp's daily... Scaling up, starting with 1 tsp daily... http://www.swansonvitamins.com/NTV001/ItemDetail Lugol's iodine is also good for helping hypothyroidism... http://www.swansonvitamins.com/LGS001/ItemDetail?n=0 This should be taken as a few drops the first day, if no adverse reaction to it, then scaling up to 12.5 to 50 mgs daily is the recommendation of Dr. Brownstein, MD, one of the US's leading physicians treating disease with Lugol's iodine.. Take care, Jim > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi all, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Was wondering if anyone is experiencing an increase in > > > symptoms (headaches, post-nasal drip, fatigue)when you are in an > > > air-conditioning draft or even outside on a nice day, but with a cool > > > breeze blowing.
