Guest guest Posted June 29, 2010 Report Share Posted June 29, 2010 This is so frustrating, but I think it has a lot to do with the fact that the DSM is really a psychological tool and there isn't anything that serves as a medical model in the same capacity. As Dr. G so frequently says, it is impossible to have an epidemic of a DEVELOPMENTAL disorder. Therefore, " it " must be medical.
