To all on and SCIA:

This ranting and raving on the groups has gone on long enough. If you feel

the urge to continue, PLEASE take it off line. This is NOT the Dr. Phil

group.

Lastly, I don't ever want to hear/read about someone " bagging " on someone else's

child; ie: " I feel sorry for his son. " . We ALL want the SAME *?!#

thing..........healthy children!! Dot.....period!!

Come on now..........!!

That is my two cents worth!!

Yes, over and done please.

We look to this board for parental support. Nothing else.

Negative comments do not belong here, especially ones involving another's kid.

Not okay!

Its become almost political on here.

Supporting one another with experiences and encouragement is why we are here.

Censoring doesn't lead to diversity of thought and ideas,

so please keep the sharing coming, so that a common

vision can be reached: a world where autism is truly

recognized for the medical disorder that it is, and

parents get help sooner for their children, rather than later!

Marcia-we also were censured on the site! The idea of censure on an open forum

site is contrary to the purpose of it in the first place. The open exchange of

ideas is the point!

Re: SCIA issues

Sally,

Thanks for letting me know Jen and I were the only ones censured on the Stop

Calling it Autism List. I hope succeeds, he is just going about it

the wrong way.

I do not look to this board only for parental support (I find that elsewhere),

but primarily, I look to this board for SOUND medical advice regarding my child

and his recovery. Not all paths are leading to recovery from the “A-Wordâ€

and for my son, the protocol IS. This board is about the protocol, and

tangents about other treatments should not cloud that focus. I feel sorry for

any child who is not recovering from “autismâ€, regardless what the family is

doing for them.

I agree and I was working with the SCIA but as the goals and mission was being

built there was an endless need to confuse the issues with HBOT, celation and

various groups that have not embraced the immune concept and truthfully the

" entire board did not fully understand the Immune concept as the root issue.

Hence the failure to reach a quorum.

I still believe an appropriately motivated group needs to reach out on a

non-profit level and do what we set out to do.

The parent group can not because the environment is too controlled and SCIA

board is not fully informed of the science nor understanding of the political

environment.

Just my thoughts.

hi Billi know i am in Oz, but quite liked the idea of the SCIA,as i believe only

thu myself and now my son that the immune system dysfunction has a very big role

in autsim. huge impact. we do not have nids here in austrlia, and we only have

the biomed/dan approach here. i have gone thru a Dr that threats CFS and i now

have that diagnosis along with aspergers, and thru Dr and now Prof De

Mierlier (CFS) my son is also being tested and treated for an underlying immune

system dysfunction. i was looking forward to have the forum that delves into the

immune side of things. i am on another forum here in Oz, but that is basically

based on DAN and the biomedical approach, which i guess is ok if thats the way

you are going, been there done that with little affect, and the treatments not

really based on any tests etc

i hope that The SCIA pulls together and gets going as a forum based in immune

system concepts
