Guest guest
In the GAPShelp forum files, I detail my technique and very positive experience with C's manual manipulation suggestion.Adding oils to the diet (starting with small amounts and working up) can also be very helpful: EFAs, olive oil, etc.Baden
Guest guest
Hi Kandee,Just read the rest of your post so wish to add that according to NCM, an enema is crucial on any day there is no stool. She suggests a simple storebought kit and homemade solutions. NCM recommends against laxatives. Again, the manual technique and oils are other options. If you have the GAPS book, her recommendations for constipation are detailed on pages 225-228. If you don't have the GAPS book, please let us know which info you would like typed in here.Baden
Guest guest
Clockwise from whose perspective? Does that mean start on your lower left side and move to the right, or start on the lower right and move to the left? Thanks, Re: [ ] constipation Date: Thursday, July 31, 2008, 9:29 AM The herb, Cascara Sagrada is a strong bowel stimulant. You could try giving her that as a tincture in warm water. It would seem like an enema would be beneficial, or perhaps colonics, as others here have benefited from. HTH, Maureen My 5 year old daughter has been constipated for 2 days now and the past 2 nights she has been vomiting. I assume it's because of the constipation. This is something new for us and she has never had a problem with it before. Is there anything I can give her as a laxative? Would an enema be the solution? Unfortunately during natural healing your body will retrace previous episodes with constipation, according to Hering's Law of Cures: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu1_1_2.php In the meantime you can treat it as best you can but it will still take 1 month of natural healing for every year you've had it. I don't recommend taking such a complex product, however if it has worked in the past it would be okay once in awhile. It is better to use high " good " fats, probiotics, vitamin C or magnesium; if you try probiotics it may cause more die-off symptoms, depending upon how far you've progressed on the program - see this article for ideas and help: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig1.php I might help you a lot to do the 9-day program at this time because the foods on it are so easy to digest: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig6.php You will also need this article for doing clear water enemas: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/enema4.php Let me know how you are doing, and if you decide to do the 9-day program and/or other treatments which helps you most. Guest guest
> > Hi Bee! > My name is . ++Hi . Welcome to our group! > I have been wrestling with candida for about 2 years. I have tried many of the antifungals. No results. I have been on a low carb diet for about 6 months,no grains, very strict. While it has decreased the symptoms, it has given me hemorrhoids and constipation. I have tried magnesium. It gave me terrible cramping. +++, you probably aren't having enough " good " fats like I recommend, so please thoroughly read " How to Successfully Overcome Candida " and start taking unrefined coconut oil as your only antifungal to begin with. Also read " Curing Candida, How to Get Started " - both are in the Candida/Yeast section on my website: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/candida/index.php > I heard that Vit C can help strengthen the candida. Is this true? +++No, that is totally false. If it were true members of this group wouldn't have been able to cure their candida, as well as myself, and Orthmolecular Physicians wouldn't be able to cure cancer with megadoses of intravenous vitamin C like they've been doing for over 60 years. > I am going to try your diet. But I would like to know what to do about constipation now and while on the diet. +++, if you have ever been constipated in the past, your body will " retrace " such episodes during natural healing, which is according to Hering's Law of Cure: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu1_1_2.php +++Also if you change over to the diet too fast, it will cause you to become constipated, as the article " Curing Candida, How to Get Started " explains. Guest guest
I can't give her the meletonin anymore since it really makes her bi- polar acting at night... and the next day she is really mean. Ugh. I don't think the clonodine is the problem, since I have had her on this for awhile and never saw constipation. I believe its the Taurine. Oxide is not as well absorbed as the other types, so it does tend to cause diarrhea at lower doses. You can try this, see if it helps. If she has been on them for a while, and they have not been constipating in the past, then either 1) they are not causing it now, or 2) they have depleted her magnesium [and high magnesium may have been why supplementing it caused her to be violent in the past] and now she needs it supplemented. > 1/4 Drop of the B6. This is best taken with magnesium, so it probably also depletes magnesium, same as biotin. Dana

Guest guest
The best and NATURAL way to clear constipation is SOLAR WATER. Take filtered water and put in a GLASS container (NOT PLASTIC OR ANYTHING ELSE!!) Leave in the SUN for a MIN. of 8 hours. , Drink that as your regular water. You will have all the energies of the sun and it clears out your bowels at the same time with no side effects. You can leave the container outside but make sure you protect it from the MOON. You can cover the container with a towel or blanket at nite. Take care!
