Guest guest
Hi Sue, Constipation is a common occurrence on this program as folks begin to eliminate carbs and have yet to get their fat levels up to those that are recommended. You can try some of the remidies listed in this article from Bee's website: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig1.php If you haven't perused Bee's website very much yet, you might want to hope on over there and take a look at the wealth of articles/information available to you. There's also a search box on the top right corner of every page so you search for anything you can think of in relation to this diet and natural healing. I hope that helps, Jackie (group moderator) > > I've been on the diet for about 2 weeks, prob less. And i haven't been able to have a bowel movement for 4 days. My body is used to my grains to help that. I used to go everyday no problem. Here is the weird thing I have no bloating or pain or even gas and therefore no urge. What is happening and what can i do to get my bowels moving? Oh and i've been using extra virgin olive oil for all my cooking. I'm going to get the coconut oil today. > > And thanks Bee for answering my last message!!! > > Sue-NEWBIE >

You will get constipated if you change over to this program too quickly, so please ensure you follow this article to make the transition over to this program: Curing Candida, How to Get Started http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php You might need to backtrack and add some grains, but I suggest adding buckwheat instead of any other kind - here's a recipe for Buckwheat Pancakes: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/recipes/recipe186.php All the best, Bee
Guest guest
Hi Sue: Welcome. Jackie addressed your concerns about constipation. But I also wanted to remind you that Bee does not recommend olive oil for cooking because the heat messes with the olive oil. Instead use butter, lard and coconut oil. Only use olive oil as more of a condiment, poured over foods for flavor without cooking it. I have found that Tropical Traditions is a good oil for cooking as it has much less coconut flavor. I use Nutiva for egg drink because the coconut flavor is nice in these. Best, Marissa > Oh and i've been using extra virgin olive oil for all my cooking. Guest guest
> > Hi Bee, >  > This is my second week on the diet, the first time I have ever not eaten any carbs. I use to eat brown rice with my meals alot. The past couple of days I have been eating alot of meat with vegetables and the electrolyte drink. For some reason I am now constipated and feeling very discouraged as it's not something I have ever had a real problem with before. I'm just starting to take the supplements so the past few days I've been taking 1 vitamin c in the morning and afternoon, and 1 Vit E per day at the moment. >  +++Hi . I think you changes over to this diet too quickly, which can make you constipated since you have to increase your good fats slowly, otherwise you'll get too many healing symptoms. You might have to backtrack a little, and add some brown rice, until you can get your fat ratios up high enough so you are not constipated. That's why you need to follow Curing Candida, How to Get Started: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php Bee

Guest guest
Well with , she would get recurrent yeast infections, lots of cradle cap and dry patches of skin but mostly she would grind her teeth at night terribly, her behavior was just wild, trouble sleeping, straddling our sofa arms and moving back and forth, and playing with herself under her covers. Yes and only 6 years old... but behavior was the tell tale sign, very loud, screaming a lot, no impulse control, was a true danger to self in public, we just could not take her anywhere. Plus she just was very defiant, and aggressive. We have her on GF/CS/EF due to allergies, but we had the best luck with Trienza digestive enzymes along with the Magnesium calm, with 3 drops of GSE liquid, and a crushed Calcium tablet in her juice...And the yeast has been under control for awhile now. We also do Candidase and Virastop at night on a empty stomach. She is a totally different child. It takes awhile for the yeast to break out, in the beginning if you try the yeast control give activated charcoal about 1 hour after the yeast killers, Help absorb the die-off toxins.... Jen constipation How do you know if child has bacteria or yeast issues? Thank you Migdalia (Dee) we live with Jesus in our heart and lives!!! While I am still having acne I have not had a cyst since switching over (knock on wood). This is great since i have an interview coming up, its hard enough being 26 with acne but cysts are another story. +++Hi Garrett. Good for you! > > Anyways, over the past week or so I have become constipated regularly. I use to never have constipation issues. Is this due to the die off? +++If you change over to the diet too fast, without being able to get your good fats up high enough, it can caused constipation. The reason it is difficult to get fats up high quickly is because they are increase detoxification and healing. > > I am drinking plenty of liquids and doing a coffee enema every 4-5 days. I also do the dry skin brushing at least once a day. > > I was only taking 4,000 mg of Vitamin C a day so i will switch up to that amount in the morning and continue adding until i have a loose stool. +++Vitamin C many help, but if you've ever had constipation in the past your body will also be " retracing " it while it is healing. +++This is probably a good time for you to do the 9-Day Program: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig6.php Let me know how you do on it. Guest guest
Lori, This might sound like a tame suggestion, but will your son eat oatmeal? My 7 year old has had chronic constipation for years. Without intervention, his system would go about once every 7 days!! With various interventions like Miralax, Milk of Magnesia, OxyPowder, Epsom Salt baths, aloe vera juice, ect... we could get him up to maybe every three to four days at best. We tried everything! But in the past few weeks, he has been willing to eat a bowl of oatmeal every morning, and voila! he is having a BM just about every day. And it must be more comfortable for him too because he no longer insists I be in there with him like he used to. He want his privacy, says, " Go, Mama! " and points me to the door. He also happens to be on Nizoral now for yeast, and yeast can cause constipation. So the yeast clean-up could be a factor in the improvement. But we have seen similar results with regular oatmeal in the past. I make the glop more appealing with a xylitol " maple syrup " to make it sweet and fun without all the sugar. If you are looking for a supplement, the most effective one for us was OxyPowder. It made him go more often, but it was often runny. I've heard a lot of people recommend aloe Vera Juice, " 's " brand specifically. Guest guest
Does Dr. G approve this? I would think he would even have a hard time with the prune juice as it is so loaded with sugar and I believe any dried fruit also can contribute to yeast??? The ONLY thing he ever recommended for constipation for my son, as I have also heard from quite a few other paediatricians, is mineral oil. Serve a teaspoon of it cold, in cold juice to dull the taste. The OTHER Lori, Oakville, Ontario _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of gvizjazz@...
