Guest guest
My child has adhd, expressive/receptive lang. disorder, and developmental delay. I know this is a loaded question, but can anyone explain the treatment to me. I am an RN who has traveled the conventional road for my son then ventured down the alternative road with diet and supplements. Diet made a difference. However, the delay is still there. My second question is does anyone have BCBS for insurance? I downloaded the new patient packet for Dr. . I'm curious to see if all the lab work is covered or not. Thanks. Guest guest
We have a different insurance carrier who does not pay for any of the autism services, but we are finding ways around it. We recently saw Dr. . Before we went, we asked our local doctor if she would run the blood work through our local clinic. She agreed to sign the lab work Dr. sent so our inusurance paid for it. If we were to get the blood work done outside of our local network, we would have had to pay for it ourselves. I think it was about $2,000 for the labs. We had to pay for the office visit ourselves ($500), and will submit it to our insurance, but I don't think they will pay for that.
Guest guest
LH, doctors focus on getting the brain and body healthier by regulating the immune system, treating any viral/fungal/bacterial infections using medications, decreasing inflammation through diet and eliminating any allergens. Basically cooling down the immune system so that blood flow is restored to the brain again, sometimes through the use of an SSRI (low dose). we have worked with Dr. for almost 2 years and he is great. and if you go through NY and you talk to Kathy (shes a nurse practioner)she is wonderful and really knows her stuff. Email me privately if you want to know anything else > > My child has adhd, expressive/receptive lang. disorder, and developmental delay.
