Hey Jim, You know I've always been a fan of Swanson's Himmy salt, at $19.99 for 2.2lb, and have often recommended it, BUT...I just ordered Himmy Salt from http://sfbsc.com (with free shipping this month), at $29.99 for 10 lbs. it's available in x-fine, fine, all the way up to coarse.Mimi at lymestrategies mentioned it and I LOVE the price!Be well,Léna Hi Jodie L, Swanson has very good prices on Himalayan (pink) sea salt... http://www.swansonvitamins.com/Search?keyword=himalayan+salt & doSearch=true & ntt=emergen%2Bc & n=0 & ntk=Level1 & x=0 & y=0 I would suggest the "COURSE" for drinking salty water (more minerals) and the "FINE" for cooking and puting on food, easier to use... Course http://www.swansonvitamins.com/SWU474/ItemDetail Fine http://www.swansonvitamins.com/SWU403/ItemDetail http://www.swansonvitamins.com/SWU402/ItemDetail http://www.swansonvitamins.com/SWU516/ItemDetail And if you prefer to make a salt sole', go with the stones! http://www.swansonvitamins.com/SWU435/ItemDetail Swanson has also started carrying another brand of Himalayan pink salt, this is a 'FINE" salt though and will less minerals as the more salt is refined, the less minerals it has... http://www.swansonvitamins.com/FFF002/ItemDetail Take care, Jim > > I all, they company we used to get pink sea salt from doesn't seem to be carrying it anymore. Does anyone have a high quality pink sea salt source? JOdie L. >

It's being shipped now. Will let you know. L Hi Lena, I actually found them in my SALT folder under resellers, not sure when I bookmarked it, but I had a note of 10 lbs for $20.99!! I guess inflation! I also had a question as to purity... Have you gotten your salt yet? If so, does it appear to be pure and not cut? It has been known for some low cost salt sellers to cut their salt with clean sand... But if it is uncut, their prices are excellent!! Let me know what you think... Thanks, Jim > > > > I all, they company we used to get pink sea salt from doesn't seem > to be carrying it anymore. Does anyone have a high quality pink sea > salt source? JOdie L. > > >

Hi Jim,Actually, I think if Himmy salt were cut at all, it would be with ordinary salt, not sand, as sand would make itself known pretty quickly against the teeth.I'm optimistic that SF will prove to be good, though, because there are very discriminating foodies in tht town and it wouldn't survive long if bogus.Be swell,Léna It's being shipped now.
