Guest guest
Hi ,It sounds like something that could have been at least studied on Plum Island, like West Nile and Avian Flu. Wonder if any of our Lymie tricks would stop this, like MMS, S & C, DE, or other parasite cleanses. As Lymies, we're probably more vulnerable, and you KNOW that the powers-that-be will be useless in protecting people or curbing this. Is this in the nation's blood supply?Be well,Léna Did any of you see the article on yahoo: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/chagas-tropical-disease-really-aids-145745645.html There is a new epidemic that is spread by biting insects called Chagas and they liken it to the next aids epidemic. They said that once the parasite gets into the heart, there is no cure. I don't consider myself a conspiracy theorist, but I think all of these new epidemics smacks of biological warfare gone awry. Any thoughts?
Guest guest
Hi Lena, I just hope this isn't going to be yet another excuse to add one more vaccine to the list of things the government would like to require us to be vaccinated against. I have wondered if these epidemics weren't created to either create more vaccines or to sell more drugs. I don't trust any of the powers that be when it comes to public health, I think they are unscrupulous scoundrels that will stop at nothing to make a buck while squashing the competition. > > > Did any of you see the article on yahoo: > > > > http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/chagas-tropical-disease-really-aids-14574564\ 5.html > > > > There is a new epidemic that is spread by biting insects called Chagas and they liken it to the next aids epidemic. Guest guest
Uh, this quote struck me as ironic, considering how tolerant our society is about the hundreds of thousands of Lyme sufferers in the 'suburbs'. "Can you imagine having 300,000 people in the suburbs with a serious case of heart disease caused by a bug? We wouldn't tolerate it as a society, but because it's happening to an indigenous people, we're silent."We are the US indigenous people, now, I guess.Be well,Léna And here is a picture of the love bug that carries Chagas http://www.mnn.com/health/fitness-well-being/stories/chagas-disease-called-the-new-hivaids-of-the-americas Take care, Jim > > Did any of you see the article on yahoo: > > http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/chagas-tropical-disease-really-aids-145745645.html > > There is a new epidemic that is spread by biting insects called Chagas and they liken it to the next aids epidemic. Guest guest
Hi Lena, The politics of fear has proven to be very successful throughout history and seems to be the driving force for the republican party in recent times. When you have a population that is comfortable and you can convince them that someone is trying to take that from them, no matter how farfetched it might be, the people will do anything to protect what they think is being threatened. When you have nothing to sell, sell fear. Guest guest
People no longer know how to read faces, especially lying ones, as so much of what they observe about communication is from actors or paid spokesmen, rather than face-to-face contact with real people. They are easily fooled, especially if they are relatively truthful themselves. They simply can't read the 'tells', the lack of facial character, of the politicians, who seem to be getting away with the 'Big lies' (as Hitler knew: the bigger the lie, the harder it would be for normal people to believe anyone would tell such a thing, so it must be the truth). Even in these times of relentless recording of every moment, every speech, these psychopaths think nothing of reversing themselves, denying past speech, rewriting history, banking on the laziness of their gullible listeners to not check it out for themselves. Psychopathy is an interesting study: some of its hallmarks are lying with impunity, of being incapable of feeling shame, of having no emotional affect or real humor, no empathy. When you have a population that is comfortable and you can convince them that someone is trying to take that from them, no matter how farfetched it might be, the people will do anything to protect what they think is being threatened. When you have nothing to sell, sell fear. In the form of people like Jay Townsend, a GOP spokesman who said, " Let's hurl some acid at those female democratic Senators who won't abide the mandates they want to impose on the private sector." Comments from outraged constituents quickly followed. "‎'Hurl some acid' Jay Townsend? Do you realize what that means?" wrote one person. "Acid attacks are particularly brutal, aimed almost solely at women, with the intent to maim and disfigure. I couldn't imagine a worse piece of invective from someone who puts the Republican war on women in quotes." Someone once told me that there is no such thing as good and evil: just Love and Fear: Love's opposite, which feels that it needs to control to be safe. Love unites, fear divides. This has been my yardstick for a long time now and it helps me evaluate our politicians better for my own learning, I think. Be well, Léna HI Lena , Sooner or later the cause we were indefferent to or lazzy to support , comes back to us , Same with the Islamic slavery of woomen they come now to us to import their cruel charia law both in USA and Europe . No way to ignore them anymore . We are one people for good or for worse. Guest guest
Oh, I ALWAYS vote. That is the sad thing about Ron supporters on the whole, though. Large numbers turn out for his rallies but the poll counts don't reflect that, so it's looking like people support him passively but they don't actually vote for him. Very strange. Shauna Well if only the members of this group voted we’d be on to something J Jeff From: Lyme_and_Rife [mailto:Lyme_and_Rife ] On Behalf Of jimjax2 Sent: Sunday, June 03, 2012 6:35 PM To: Lyme_and_Rife Subject: Re: OT: New epidemic like Aids Ron also wants to get rid of the Federal Reserve System and allow the markets to set the value of the US dollar, he gets my vote for this also, along with the FDA and raw milk!! Guest guest
My husband and I always vote. Why would you say people in this group might not vote? We all seem like very responsible people. But we may not all vote the same way ... Guest guest
Jeff, correct me if I'm wrong, but Khaya, I think Jeff just meant that this group is large enough and the support for Ron seems significant enough that the members of this group alone could make a difference in terms of support. I don't think he was accusing us of neglecting our civic duty. Shauna My husband and I always vote. Why would you say people in this group might not vote? We all seem like very responsible people.
