Guest guest
Khaya, Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I was in no way suggesting that our members don’t vote. What I was trying to say, poorly it seems, is that if only our members voted we would have a better chance of electing honest officials than the general population voting. I realize we might not all vote the same way but at least we all would think about the choices we make rather than rely on something that we heard a sound bite of. Guest guest
Hi Shauna, You’re at least mostly correct about what I wrote. I was not trying to imply that our members don’t vote. However I disagree that we could make much of a difference in the cause for Mr . I don’t know how many members we have but even if it was 100% in support of him it would still be a drop in a much larger bucket of necessary support. As long as money and special interests dominate our elections a non mainstream candidate has no chance of winning a national election. Thanks, Jeff From: Lyme_and_Rife [mailto:Lyme_and_Rife ] On Behalf Of Shauna Boren Sent: Monday, June 04, 2012 2:04 AM To: Lyme_and_Rife Subject: Re: Re: OT: New epidemic like Aids Jeff, correct me if I'm wrong, but Khaya, I think Jeff just meant that this group is large enough and the support for Ron seems significant enough that the members of this group alone could make a difference in terms of support. I don't think he was accusing us of neglecting our civic duty. Shauna On Sun, Jun 3, 2012 at 9:57 PM, khaya.davidson wrote: My husband and I always vote. Guest guest
Hi Group! The full moon has just passed. That means more pathogens on board, which usually translates as emotions heating up.(and posts sometimes getting antagonistic or misunderstood as antagonistic) Yes, there are issues that deeply affect us that are not 'OT', butmaybe not such a great time to discuss politics, or at least specific politicians favored or unfavored. Let's just commit to vote and leave it at that, and remember that we may not all vote the same.Be well,Léna Khaya,Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I was in no way suggesting that our members don’t vote. Guest guest
Lena, After reading your post and then re-reading my initial post it was easily misunderstood and if I can blame that on the full moon great, but it more likely was my negligence. I did notice however since the last full moon when that was discussed there has certainly been an effect on me. Thanks for pointing that out. Guest guest
Ooh, I really don't like the idea of the moon being able to affect my behavior, though I don't doubt that it can!Shauna Hi Group! The full moon has just passed. Guest guest
Hi Jeff,I'm not an anthropologist or biologist, but I enjoy observing the world, obligatory social functions, and the internet, as if I were. The full moon never fails to make communication among Lymies just a little less clear, and sometimes, in the past, has even fostered food fights. It's almost funny, except we all need to feel safe and misunderstandings can be very weighty to a brain already burdened with Lymisery.Let it wane, let it wane, let it wane! =)Be well,Léna Lena,After reading your post and then re-reading my initial post it was easily misunderstood and if I can blame that on the full moon great, but it more likely was my negligence. Guest guest
Hi Shauna,I've learned that it's an influence,(by its multiplying pathogens) and I sort of filter my reactions to things through that awareness. Actually, Lyme and Lyme-brain is a sort of extended 'full moon' for me: something I've learned the hard way, and I try (when I can) to be mindful of that. But then, there are so many other things that can affect us, like bad architecture, fluorescent lighting, low-frequency noise, pollutions of all kinds; even the colors we wear, the ergonomics of our chairs. What doesn't manage to overtake us makes us stronger.Be well,Léna Ooh, I really don't like the idea of the moon being able to affect my behavior, though I don't doubt that it can!Shauna Hi Group! The full moon has just passed. Guest guest
Hi Lena , I am not good at politic, hoewever using violent words is promoting violence . They pretend it is just oqwrds but it is not innocent at all words . First effect making violence normal as it is not then words are powerfull .Nowaday every body is confused about good and bad . It is the effort of Satan to make human kind confused and he does it right in our modern society. People are lost in his tricky mist . I see deevlopping mor an dmore over power above countries and less and less individual freedom in advanced societies as theses crazy man made desease we are vivitm of , us lymees , so I beleive the conspiracy info more and more an dof the secret society financial elite plan to take over the power as mondialisation. My answer to this is first prayer then independant living . we are doing this here by force in the medical field Kindly Marie To: Lyme_and_Rife Sent: Friday, June 1, 2012 7:47 PMSubject: Re: Re: OT: New epidemic like Aids Hi Kindly Marie, The Taliban are all among us! In the form of people like Jay Townsend, a GOP spokesman who said, " Let's hurl some acid at those female democratic Senators who won't abide the mandates they want to impose on the private sector." Comments from outraged constituents quickly followed. "‎'Hurl some acid' Jay Townsend? Do you realize what that means?" wrote one person. "Acid attacks are particularly brutal, aimed almost solely at women, with the intent to maim and disfigure. I couldn't imagine a worse piece of invective from someone who puts the Republican war on women in quotes." Someone once told me that there is no such thing as good and evil: just Love and Fear: Love's opposite, which feels that it needs to control to be safe. Love unites, fear divides. This has been my yardstick for a long time now and it helps me evaluate our politicians better for my own learning, I think. Be well, Léna HI Lena , Sooner or later the cause we were indefferent to or lazzy to support , comes back to us , Same with the Islamic slavery of woomen they come now to us to import their cruel charia law both in USA and Europe . No way to ignore them anymore . We are one people for good or for worse.
