Scandal and Senate Bill Aimed at Restricting Your Supplements?

The U.S. Senate is about to vote on a law that will jeopardize your ability to obtain dietary supplements. At the same time, a jury is on the verge of rendering a verdict as to whether money paid to ' mistress violated federal campaign finance laws.

Whether or not is found guilty, two facts are unassailable:

He was a U.S. senator who voted to create artificial laws.

He has repeatedly and blatantly lied.

We at Life Extension® don't judge personal affairs.

What we criticize is a political system that enables individuals to create laws that favor special interests at the expense of our precious health.

Right now, senators are voting on a bill that will give the FDA draconian new powers to restrict consumer access to dietary supplements. The fundamental question we raise is whether these senators should create a law that interferes with individual free choice?

Our position is that one individual (or group of individuals) should not have the power to dictate artificial laws to others. Those who disagree should at least recall former U.S. Senator ' fall from power. Are you comfortable with someone who blatantly lied to the public having the power to " create " laws that forcibly control your conduct?

The Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act (S.3187) has been poisoned with the last-minute insertion of an amendment that will seriously interfere with your ability to access affordable and more effective dietary supplements. We ask that you contact your senators IMMEDIATELY by calling (United States Capitol switchboard) and tell them to OPPOSE amendment No. 2127 to the FDA Safety and Innovation Act (S.3187). Ideally, this bill should not be enacted at all, but at a minimum insist that your two senators OPPOSE amendment No. 2127.
